A quaint, affordable hotel with restaurant located on the Dillingen-side of Beckingen, about 9 minutes drive from the center of Saarlouis. It features a large parking area so parking is never a problem (unlike some of the hotels closer to the center). While it lacks some of the amenities of the business-hotels (WiFi is only available in the restaurant area), it makes up for it with some character - the deco is from the late 60s / early 70s and bar has an old-school German feel. This is the second time I have stayed here and both times it has been nearly empty. For a single room including breakfast I paid about €34. Lunch is around €6 )see pic) and dinner typically costs €10-14. All in all, I will stay here again on my next visit to the area. read more
