Beautiful restaurant which used to be a movie house. I believe this is where the name Fellini came from, the Italian Director. It is totally wheelchair accessible with accessible toilet. (All of my reviews for the Netherlands I mention the accessibility since it can be a major problem).
The boyfriend and I met a group of his colleagues for dinner. It was slick, dark, and elegant. There is no English menu, but luckily everyone with us spoke Dutch, so they could translate the menu for us. We all shared some bread and olives and of course we all had beers. Apparently it appears Heineken is bigger in Amsterdam, and GroIsch is bigger in Enschede. I really could just live on the beer, bread, olives and cheese we had on our trip it was all so good!
I had a salad with shrimp and cooked Porcini mushrooms. Yes, I know that sounds weird, but it worked! The shrimp came with the heads on *gulp* but I quickly cut those off and shoved them to the side and pretended they didn't exist! They boyfriend had a chicken pasta and said it was pretty good.
Really cool place, I would recommend! read more
