I had a bad experience with a doctor at another office in town and this office welcomed me with open arms 10 weeks into my first pregnancy. The office is relaxing and beautiful. I did not go to the old one so I cannot make a comparison. Although I have only been going to this office for 2.5 short years, I disagree with the complaint about the wait time. I feel the ease of scheduling an appointment is magnificent, they space their times perfectly. I am ALWAYS in a room consulting with a doctor within 20 mins, MAXIMUM! I could see having to wait over an hour if you were drastically late for your appointment and the doctor was putting in an effort to fit the patient in, but I definitely have NEVER had to wait that long. The front desk staff has always returned phone calls within the same day I call them. And if it was an urgent call, they returned it within 1 hour MAXIMUM. I request results after every test because I keep a health binder and the office staff is always great about getting paperwork to me accordingly. On another note, even if the hour long wait was true..... THESE DOCTORS ARE WORTH IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THEY DO NOT TREAT YOU LIKE AN APPOINTMENT NUMBER, THEY TREAT YOU LIKE A PERSON WITH FEELINGS AND THEY RESPECT THAT!!!!!!! THEY ALSO DON'T MAKE YOU FEEL DUMB FOR ASKING A QUESTION!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND ANY OF THESE 2 DOCTORS!! THEY ARE BOTH EXCEPTIONAL AT WHAT THEY DO!!!!!

Needless to say, this is my last appointment here and I would highly recommend against this place. The doctor is good, but staff bad and inability to keep even remotely to a scheduled appointment repeatedly with no update from the staff that is just horrible.

Her problem really is not with the office, but rather with the cheap insurance she has. She removed her post from Facebook because everyone told her it was not the doctors office that had a problem. It was her. Now, I understand everyone can't afford premium insurance, Kristen will soon find out very few Doctors will even see her with that insurance. The shame of it is Dr. Altman would have worked out something with her. But she chose to be rude and ignorant to the staff. Take her review with a grain of salt. Or a mountain of it. I have been a patient of Dr. Altman's for at least six years. He's done wonders for my neck and back. And he has quite the following. His office is usually very busy. And that should tell you how good he is. I am very familiar with the insurance that she stated she had on Facebook. I happen to work at a doctors office in Northfield. I am very familiar with it her insurance. I wish her luck finding a Doctor who will take it.

Then I was told I had to show up an hour and a half (90 mins) in advance for an x-ray -she said they don't do the actual x-rays on site so I would have to go through AMI imaging first-conveniently located in their parking lot, while I'm assuming it is also a separate charge. They want to be certain the x-ray is complete and so I have to sit and wait 90 minutes so I don't keep the doctor waiting - what?? What about keeping ME waiting? Or I could drive the 20 miles (one way) days before the appointment for the x-ray, then show up again the day of my actual appointment. Why is it that all of the other ortho offices I called told me they take x-rays on-site without waiting to see the doctor? Does Premier know there are other ortho offices and doctors you can see that won't make you wait on hold, jump through hoops, and be totally frustrated just making an appointment? So glad I found another ortho group with an appointment (sooner) with x-rays on the spot and no additional hours wasted of my life! My issue was already resolved by another ortho group (who was excellent), xrays on the spot, and my Premier appointment was still another week away!
