I work pretty long hours and tend to get very immersed in my work because I love what I do, but it can be very exhausting both mentally and physically. Getting a regular massage has done wonders for my health. I have never had a bad experience with her and she is extremely personable. Crystal has a number of different massage services that she offers that can't always be found with the average massage therapist in Greenville. The best part is that she will customize the session for you if you talk to her. She doesn't just run through the same routine each time. I really enjoy the Thai massage, general relaxation but the sports massage currently seems to help the most because my job is somewhat physically demanding and I like to do as much weight lifting, running and cycling as I can. My best advice is for you to get yourself a regular standing appointment. My office is only three doors down and if I didn't have my massage regularly scheduled I would forget to go because I think I'm "to busy". I never heard of this place but since it was in the area it didn't hurt to see what it was about right ? I booked my appointment online which was for the next following day. I arrived at the address and the place is inside a building that has different suites/ offices. I arrived at the specified numbered suite and a young really nice lady named Tijohna greeted me and verified my appointment. She is the owner of JoeJo Pina Therapeutic Massage Center and she was very sweet, welcoming, and friendly. She asked me to fill out an intake form which would let her know what parts of my body that I needed worked on and which parts I didn't want to be massaged/ messed with. It was very detailed and I really liked that because it shows that she's very attentive to the wants and needs of your body. Even though I was there for a foot spa/massage the intake from would be used for future visits that way they would already have my info saved. When I finished the intake from her masseuse Kirsh came in and introduced himself and said that he was going to be taking care of me. He was very kind and I could tell he was very professional and knew what he was doing. Tijohna then left the room and Kirsh explained what he would be doing and asked me if there were areas on my foot/ leg that I wanted him to pay more attention to. He was very thorough and professional. He dimmed the lights and put on some nice calm relaxing music and let's just say 10 minutes in I fell asleep. I know rightttt !! Don't laugh but that goes to show you how amazing the foot massaging/ spa was !! His hands were very good. He had great massaging pressure and asked me whether I wanted a deep, moderate or light massage. I was so relaxed and overall it was an amazing experience. WIll I be back ? 100% you bet I will. The therapists changed out half way through my service. The massage was satisfactory and I felt relaxed. At one point I thought I might return. Then I went to leave and the therapists insisted on a tip. I was confused because tips are optional. So, I felt bullied into giving a tip. I gave her 5$ and got a lot of lip. I thought they were wanting me to pay again for the foot massage. The language barrier is difficult to figure out what they are expecting and what you can expect. I said how much of a tip do you want and they said whatever you want to give. It was relaxing, but when I left I felt very uncomfortable. I will be looking at other foot massage options and may not be returning here.
