We booked the whole day to ourselves and Ben did an amazing job, really relaxed and entertaining guy. The tattoos have healed wonderfully and personally I can say it's been the easiest tattoo to take care of despite it being my biggest one (upper thigh). Ben nailed the watercolor and delicate lines, they look exactly as we wanted them. Price wasn't bad either!! We are now regular visitors and as a family venue it really is first class. Now I know this place isn't in London but a good tattooist is well worth the travel. The piece I had done here is situated on my left shoulder (deltoid). I created a design myself based on the Aztec calender and took it to a few shops, all the artists told me that it was too intricate and that it would "bleed" (the colours would run into each other), I'd need to simplify it they said. Apparently they just weren't up to the task, unlike the fine people at Forver & Ever!! I found them by looking at other people's tatts until I found something I liked with a similar fine line feel to it. This is by far and away the best technique to finding the right tattooist, afterall, they are their own advertising. The shop is very clean and the staff are very helpful, once in the chair I was made to feel part of the team. A cup of tea was made and they even consulted me on which CD to play. Nostalgia took hold and we all listened to Nirvana's nevermind album while Ana began her work. What she thought would take 3 hours only took 2, the art work and detailing is stunning (I'll show anyone who wants to see) the individual steps on the motif in the middle still amaze me. They charge £60 per hour which is entirely reasonable in the world of tattooing so I tipped Ana good (anyone considering doing the same would do well to note she has a penchant for Elvis). Check out the art on their website, the nipple she tattooed on a lady who lost hers through surgery is genius!
