I would give them less than one star if I could. For a year I have been trying to get clear cut information on my term life insurance policy I took out years ago to cover my children when they were little this was around 1984. Now, 2019, I am told that the cash value is $83.00. I am told I cannot convert the policy to whole life under $50,000. I am 62 years old a whole life policy would be so expensive at $50,000. I was sent paperwork to sign that was not filled in, who signs any paperwork that is not filled in. I was told I would get a return call I did not receive. I finally after a year called the 800 number for Security Mutual Insurance and canceled the policy. I just feel I was ill-informed at the age of 26 to cover my children if I should pass away as a single parent. If I had known more about this life insurance I would have never agreed to a policy. Wow these guys are seriously great! They make what is often an arduous process into something you don't completely dread doing. Matt, John, Brendan are fantastic humans. Took care of my policy very quickly and answered any questions I had with patience. These smaller companies need our business and I'm happy to give it to them.
