The first time Floki was only a puppy and Jake helped with the do's and don't of raising a puppy in a busy household. We then hit covid and coming put the other side we now had an adult dog with anxiety and bad walking habits. Following the advise and guidance from both Jake and Nala, Floki is much happier. Fircroft Kennels really are as good as it gets…read more I've been bringing my dog here for about five years now and she LOVES IT! (and her sister for about 4 years) When I ring to book her in, they know her straight away and they love her (shes a sweetheart). I've tried other kennels in the past and my dog came home with a stomach infection, fleas, bordetella, you name it she got it. But fircroft is in a league of its own. Wonderful people and wonderful facilities. I would highly recommend it if you are living in the County Kildare region. It is pricey, but honestly I think it is worth it, knowing that your dog is in the best hands and knowing that you have nothing to worry about. There is nothing worse than worrying about your pup when you aren't 100% sure about kennels. Go for it, I know you won't be disappointed

I just visited this store today and was completely disgusted at the state of the live animals. The…read morefish tanks were so dirty you could barely make out the fish that were unfortunate to be stuck in them. There was a rat with its nose dripping from flu and three guinepigs shaking in a corner of the small cage they were being kept in with a large rabbit. The staff were rude and wouldn't step out of the way when we tried to get past them. Think the owner's need to take a good look at the staff and some inhouse training on animal welfare wouldn't be a bad idea.
