FedEx Knightdale location has repeatedly failed to deliver on time. As I have looked further into this due to yet another package being inexplicably delayed, it appears they have a reputation for lying to customers about delivery attempts, delaying deliveries without explanation, and now denying customers from picking up their own packages. I called FedEx support several times to get through to the Knightdale location, but the automated message simply said it's delayed, and you cannot pick it up yourself. Awful. For 4 months Fedex delivered another another neighbors packages to my house, and they got deliveries several times a week. Talking to the drivers, calling Fedex did nothing to stop it. Just this week I had a large delivery of chairs I had ordered get delivered to another neighbors house. I had to haul all the heavy boxes back to my house. IS IT THAT HARD TO READ AN ADDRESS AND DELIVER TO THE CORRECT HOUSE?! It's you're only job! read more

I am very upset with FedEx. I filed a claim and they denied it. I was out of town for the day and the FedEx left my package right beside the highway in front of the mailbox. FedEx said the shipper need to file the claim. That's stupid when I am the customer and I paid for that package. The package was very important because it had medical supplies for my husband. Things I needed for him. Things that could have been stolen. I got home at 7:50 pm that night. If I hadn't arrived home that package could have been stolen or damaged. UPS have never done me that way. read more

This is the second time fedex has marked my package as delivered when it really hasn't been. Said it was delivered at 1:30 and it's not 3:30

Do not use and always refuse any service from FedEx's Home Delivery division. None of the drivers are employees, they are all contractors. They get paid per delivery attempt so they will try to do a bump and run every chance they get. 99% of the time on the first two delivery attempts, they won't even ring the doorbell, just leave a call tag so they can milk their pay. To top it all off, they do not deliver on Mondays... Sundays too. They operate out of a little dungeon in the RTP and are horribly inept. One way to keep your package from being sent through Home Delivery is to notate that on your order and always check the box stating that your address is a business address. read more

I called Fedex 800 number 3 times to delay delivery because we were going to be out of town on the scheduled delivery day and the package required a signature. Each time they assured me it would be held until the next week. I kept getting emails telling me it would be delivered on the originally scheduled date. It was delivered anyway and a neighbor happened to see the delivery man at my door and offered to sign for it. How did the delivery guy know the man was really my neighbor? He did not ask for ID either. So disappointed in their service. read more

I have heard many stories about how horrible FedEx was but I am truly starting to experiencing their sheer incompetence. I had 2 packages scheduled for delivery, one for Monday July 13th, and one for Wednesday July 15th. They rescheduled my package that was supposed to be here on the 15th to the 16th. As I waited all day for my package on July 13th, it was no where to be found. Checking the tracking app is useless being as they update it once in a blue moon. I waited until 8 pm, which is the time they stop deliveries, to call FedEx customer service and it was only then that they told me that they rescheduled my delivery date to July 14th. On the 14th, I wait all day, continuously checking the tracking app which hasn't been updated in 3 days at this point, and my package was in the exact same spot, there have been 0 updates. So as I did the day before, I call customer service and all they told me was that my package was in transit. After it past 8 pm, I called customer service yet again explaining to them that the tracker hasn't been updated in 3 days and that my package was supposed to be delivered that day. The customer service lady told me that they rescheduled the delivery date AGAIN and she said that it was definitely going to be delivered on the July 15th. On the 15th, they finally updated the status and my package was finally in my state. I was confident that I was going to get my package on that day. After work I checked the tracker again and it said my package was in my city on a delivery truck. I was relieved that I was actually going to get my package today. Since I was paranoid, I called FedEx multiple times to assure that it was going to get delivered that day, and they assured me. I wait all day, no package. I called customer service yet again at 8 pm and I let them know that my package STILL hasn't been delivered, not even they could give me a straight answer as to where my package is. At this point I am angry, they rescheduled 3 times and barely update the tracking app and the customer service number is basically good for nothing. They asked for my number and told me that someone was going to call me with an update on my package. I check the status of my second package that is supposed to arrive on the 16th and there has been no update to the tracking, I don't even know why I was expecting anything. It frustrates me that there is absolutely no transparency with the company when it comes down to YOUR items. I needed these packages to arrive on the day that they were supposed to because I am going to be out of town for the weekend and I have ZERO patience to deal with anymore of this b.s. This is the first and most definitely will be my last time dealing with FedEx. As someone said in a review, if you contact customer service, you either deal with a robot or a clueless worker. Words can't even described how unsatisfied and pure angry I am with this company. This is highly unprofessional and unacceptable. NEVER AGAIN!! read more

In reference of the previous review, yes FedEx Ground and Home delivery drivers are contracted. In addition, the "owners" of the hired contracted drivers are paid per package not the drivers; and they (the drivers) are not paid extra by "milking" delivery attempts. Contracted drivers are paid by the day not by the hour. The drivers make attempts to get signature required packages off to avoid making the additional two attempts which doesn't benefit them as drivers in any way since they are paid by the day. The drivers do not get bonuses or extra pay for "milking" attempts. Yes, Home delivery does not deliver on Mondays and Sundays. Ground delivery does not deliver on Saturdays and Sundays. There are far and few courier that delivers on Sunday. Just a side note, both Ground and Home delivery delivers packages to both businesses and homes. In the end, it doesn't benefit the driver to continue to make attempts or the customer having to pick up the package at the main terminal. read more
