We know nothing is perfect in life or with schools however Dawson as an amazing school for lots of…read moredifferent reasons. With small classes highly educated teachers that care and communicate with each other not just within the grades also cross grades teaching leader ship kindness how to think things through take accountability and look through the world through different eyes makes the school exceptional. From kids that are highly intelligent and great at math and science to kids that think a little bit different or have struggles as well as auditory issues and many more the school ebbraces those space differences.

They don't help you at all if you're a student at the school.They say they will do something and never follow through with it, they're never in their office. I'm assuming they're always out at lunch or something. Every time you want to talk to a counselor you always have to leave a message with the receptionist. And by the way that receptionist is extremely rude! I walk up to her desk and she proceeds with "what do you want?". I wouldn't recommend this school to anyone. The lunch, the students, the staff, and most of all THE COUNSELORS are unprofessional and unorganized. Please do yourself and your child a favor and send your kid somewhere else.

Heyo. I was only here for 1 year, but allow me to share my experiences with you. This school is the…read more2nd best one I've ever been to in my life, and I've been to 5 so far. So that's a pretty good accomplishment. Anyhoot, the teachers that were there during my time there were awesome, but sadly like all of the middle school teachers except one left. But I have no doubts that qualified individuals filled their positions. The reason why I knocked a star off my review is because of the students. I got bullied for a couple of months before I told my dad what was going on after tanking the insults that were thrown at me on an almost daily basis from November-December, and maybe a bit after that even, but my dad put the foot down and issued a complaint to the principal. They dealt with it so well and fast, and I never had issues with that student again. The electives here are super enjoyable, and I'll have fond memories of of this school for a while. Sorry about this review not being super in-depth, but I tried my best to paint a picture of this place for you. :)
