For Switzerland being bowling is not the most common big sport, this place located not too far of a walk from the Schlieren train station (10-15 min walk) is not too shabby. It has the essentials of what you need: a 90s style/suburban old town style bowling aura (this is in comparison to what I've seen in the U.S.). But the lanes are fully functional, the machines do the scoring and there are a variety of balls (those they are quite old and are not very smoothly perfect). They rent shoes and also sell food/beer - which is a huge plus as the first bowling place I've been to stopped serving beer and food after 6pm (somewhere in the middle of nowhere near Zug). So all the elements for a good time are there: food, drinks, bowling balls, shoes and functioning lanes with machine scoring systems. All you need to do is bring your entourage and some money! Reservations are highly recommended as even on a Wednesday evening the lanes are fully packed!

Lots of sofas in the lounge areas on the side, and a glass smoking room in the middle. It had a good-sized crowd on a Saturday afternoon with a mix of families with kids, couples on dates, and friends just hanging out. They also have disco bowling after 9 pm on weekends. Free parking on-site and a bar with drinks and snacks made this a fun place to visit on Saturday afternoon.
