I first read about this place on an "X number of places to eat cheap in Madrid" article claiming…read morethat it had generous portions of tapas.
When my friends and I walked in and asked for cañas, the barman responded that they only had jarras (mugs). Win #1.
Next, we each received a fried egg. Win #2. (Unless you don't like eggs in this style. But I do. So it was a win for me.)
THEN for every two drinks, we got to choose a tapa. Win #3. Not shockingly, many options were fried items or potato based. Might not be a win for you if you're looking for some vegetables.
The rumors were true. This place is a good value for the price. There were many other offers on the menu that I didn't even explore.
