Fatih Mosque Hameln belongs to the umbrella organization DITIB (Turkish: Diyanet İşleri Türk-İslam Birliği) Turkish-Islamic Union for Religious Affairs, one of the largest Islamic organizations in Germany. Opened in 1988, the mosque management offers a diverse cultural program, e.g., girls dance group, folk dances, Quran and Hadith lessons in German and Turkish, and other cultural activities. It is one of the popular places listed under Church/Religious Organization in Hameln, Religious Organization in Hameln, Event in Hameln, and Mosque in Hameln. Since January 2010, it is a member of the Bremen Regional Association together with 93 other mosques in Bremen / Lower axes. It plays an important role in harmonizing the relationship between different communities. The mosque is not only a place of worship but also a place of social commitment, religious education, dialogue, and active participation in various areas of society.
