Based upon Mr. Hebert's report and the conversation we had following the inspection, he said that the home was in great shape. I moved forward with the purchase of the home. After spending thousands of dollars renovating the home we had a nice little rain which caused the roof to leak. When the roofer came to the home to patch the roof it was brought to my attention that the roof had been patched at least 3 times and that it was in disrepair. I revisited my home inspection because when Paul and I had a man to man conversation following the inspection he told me the roof was 5-10 years old and it had plenty of life left it in, that he would have purchase the home if it was his money. I hired a company to help me get the home leased and as we were doing our walk around it was brought to my attention that we had a major crack on the back side of the home with potential foundation issues which also caused a large crack in one of the windows. Upon reviewing my report there was no mention about the cracks on the side of the home and when we did our walk through he failed to bring this to my attention. Paul did admit that he completely missed the crack on the side of the house and the crack in the window. I finally called Mr. Hebert to address my concerns. He was prompt to answer and came over the very next day to reinspect the home. I was told that I could have my money back on the inspection which I was glad to take. However, when he pulled out the check book to write me a check I was told the only way I could receive the check is if I signed a waiver of liability. I asked to see the waiver and to my surprise it was hand written on his report. I refused to sign it and he told me that the only way I would receive my check is if signed his hand written wavier of liability. After filing and insurance claim and complaint with the State Board I was told to review my inspection report next time before I purchase the home, which I found very unprofessional. I spent plenty of time reviewing the report and spent time walking the property with Mr. Hebert. The patched roof and the cracked wall were not mentioned in the report. Beware!

He was extremely thorough with his report and went over it with me patiently. He answered every question I had, and I had many. We backed out of that contract and found another place. He came back over to inspect this one, and once again we were treated with a very thorough walk through and inspection. Very pleased with his detailed inspection and reporting. Definitely recommend him to anyone who is in need of a home inspection!

Buyer selected this company. Inspector Freeman, during his inspection damaged my trey ceiling in the living room during his inspection in the attic. I have pictures before inspection and after. House shown by other agents numerous times, no damage to ceiling. The appraiser pointed it out during the appraisal the next day. Of course he didn't take responsibility for it and neither has his company. He said he was "baffled" and asked the listing agent "who takes pictures of a ceiling?". Never use a company that doesn't take responsibility for his actions!

From the onset of doing business with Dustin, I found him to be disorganized, and bullyish. He and…read morehis crew came unprepared and the two-day job turned into a 6-day job. One of the days his crew did not show because they all had to go to immigration for hearings. His equipment was rented and no one knew how to assemble it at first. Dustin had to leave on a regular basis to buy more supplies instead of coming prepared. They spent more time in my garage and driveway than in my attic. Dustin brought pizza and other snack for his crew. They used my leaf blower instead of having their own. They left garbage and dead rats on my driveway. I had introduced Dustin to my neighbors in hopes they could get service before it was as bad as my home. ( neighbors on one side of me had rat problems and they drifted to my home) He bullied them into signing up and then they cancelled once he was gone. NOT COOL. I eventually contacted the owner and he stopped by to chat and offered me a nice rebate due to the troubles. Sadly the trouble never ended. Dustin became cold and rude and took forever to finally finish the job. I was assured they would return to check the space in a week and then in two weeks to make sure the pests were forever gone. This never happened. I would not recommend this company for pest control. I paid a small fortune to have all my insulation and duct work replaced. This is not what I signed up for. I feel taken advantage of and lied to. I also felt the unprofessionalism of this young man was horrible and downright sketchy. Also, I asked not to be bothered again, and to never send me a survey about their work. Alas, I continue to receive emails asking for this review, because at Eagle they don't listen, only prey on women in my opinion.
