Beautiful wools, alpaca, baby alpaca, silk, linen, cotton, etc. I think prices are decent--you could get high-end yarns but also get some good basic 100% wool for around 45kr per skein. Similar to what I've seen in other yarn shops, I find that there is a slight lack of bulky weights. A plus side is that they have a frequent shopper stamp card--which ultimately gives about a 5% discount (for every so many 100kr-stamps, you get a 100kr credit). Though, a tip for students--you get a 10% discount for every purchase, so make sure to show them your CSN card! I love this place. I usually buy my yarns here, or go in to feel the yarns when I have some time to spare.

The store is super nice looking, and you can even improve your shopping experience with a fresh cup of coffee - made with their own espresso machine! The staff is as cool as the shop itself, which unfortunately sometimes means ignoring the customers. Nevertheless, the atmosphere there is lovely, the layout of the shop is beautiful and the items sold are very nice. If you are not able to go to Urban Collection by person, you still have a chance to do it virtually: their webstore! No coffee, but the same beautiful items to buy.

Each room is being sponsored by a local company and furnished according to the company's area of expertise. The engine from the 1930s is also still there. Usually they don't open the hostel until May due to the temperatures in the sleeping and restaurant compartments where breakfast is being served. However, the very friendly and helpful host was nice enough to open up for us anyway and with a heater in our room it worked out fine. Breakfast is generous, both warm and cold and comes at a good price. Swedish husmanskost is the word!
