Yes Yes and YES!!!!…read more Last minute Mary, thats me, and this shop was able to help me out GREATLY in my crunch. I needed a photo plaque for a Church Anniversary & this trophy shop was able to accommodate me; hello WINNING!!! Picture: the Wednesday before the event, I'm looking online for a photo plaque making shop in the GNO area; wish me luck. Well thank the Lord, I shared my dilemma with an office mate as she called a friend & her friend referred me to this quaint little, as Robert, the owner, called it "word of mouth" shop; happy happy am I. I will admit, I saw this shop on YP.com, but since there was no website, I bothered not to make the call... Good thing I shared my issue. AnyWHO, I was able to bring them a picture, provide the inscription (on Wednesday) & receive my plaque by the next day, which was Thursday. Pricing was great, as the photo plaque was comparable to others online & there was no RUSH FEE... Bonanza!!!! I did later find out there IS a website, not extensive in providing information, but there is one still the same. The shop is located in a strip mall on the Westbank off of Carol Sue; yes it's a bit remote, but for the convenience of it all, I'll deal with the drive to the westbank & the twists & turns I have to take to access this "word of mouth" trophy shop.

When I reminded her that the agreement we made was that she would call me if she could not fit everything in the font I requested. She hung on me after saying 'so you're not paying, I won't forget this'. Unprofessional. Behind the times in terms of engraving/computer language, machinery/tools, artistic ability and options to pay (cash & checks only). But none of that bothered me because I wanted to shop local and support a small business. But the customer service was so bad, that I found a way to leave a review. Will never recommend. Will never go back.

Not only does Alltmont listen to your preferences, but they can offer advice to fine tune the exact affect/look you are going for as well. I do think they are reasonable in their pricing. SO FREAKIN' BADASS…read more I've always been infatuated with handblown glass work and to finally see it in person was such a cool experience. Ben is the owner of this shop and know that you gotta literally rely on the address because I didn't see a sign outside. You're able to access a few different rooms including the back room where they actually have the furnace to mold the glass. I was able to see a live demonstration which really placed an emphasis on just how hot the furnace has to be to mold the glass. They keep it on 24/7 basically. They do custom work which is really neat but they have a variety of emblems to select from to embed within your glass at the bottom. I'm a new fan of Glass Blower Ben.
