My wife and I recently purchased some nice black lacquer bedroom furniture and wanted to protect the tops. I asked the sales person where we purchased the furniture if she could recommend a Glazier to get glass tops made. She stated that she worked with this company before on mirrors, and other glass. I gave them a call, and I spoke with James and explained my needs, he was driving and asked if I could text him the dimensions and he would text me a quote. Within 30 min he sent out a quote, including the materials used and thickness. The price he gave me was very reasonable, and fair. He sent over a square secure payment app. And stated he would have the job completed the next morning! I certainly was not expecting that soon. True to his word I received a text the next morning that the job was complete and that I could pick up at the shop that he had it ready outside. Funny I was going to ask him where to get those little silicone discs to put between the glass and dresser. To my delight in the text he stated there would be a bag with those in it. All of the edges were nicely beveled and smooth, little rubber pads squares on all the glass so when I put the in the car stacked on one another there was cushioning between them. My husband inquired about a tabletop glass to be made last Saturday. He received a quote over the phone and the approximate time for it to be completed (15mins). On Sunday, we decided to call ahead and pick it up same day, but found out they are closed on Sundays and Mondays though their website and Yelp hours say 24/7. We called back on Tuesday to place the order and the man on the phone said they were a bit busy at that time and they will give us a call back. We received a call within reasonable time and the kind man took our order and gave us a time for pick up before they headed out for another job. When my husband arrived, they were still working on the finalization of the glass cutting which took another ten mins. He did not mind waiting since he wanted to make sure the glass was perfect and did not have any issues prior to departure. Our tabletop glass was 34 1/8 x 44 3/8. 1/4 in thick. $74 with tax included. We are extremely satisfied with the quality of the glass and service. They gave us little plastic circles to place under the glass to prevent sliding once placed as well. I have an old house, 'historic' according to Long Beach. It has French doors leading to a patio and one of 10 panes was cracked. I wanted to replace the doors altogether but was warned that the city could crack down since it's a 'historic' property.
