Pretty good truck stop/fuel stop/convenience store and quick food restaurant. I came in for ice and drinks and quickly found what I needed. The store had tons of quick food items and I bet one could have found something for just about every taste. The parking lot is easy to maneuver around within, even if you had a massive camper or 18 wheeler. The staff was somewhat friendly and offered to help quite a few folks find what they needed. The convenience store had stuff from travel to camping to vehicle repair to home and truck cab decoration. read more

The rain put a real damper on everything and there never seemed a good place to stop today, but finally we got a break in the weather and CDR Naturals popped up in Bourbon, close to the freeway and a description loaded with promise. Coffee bar, smoothies, juice bar, organic groceries etc. What we found when we stopped was a delightful family run store with friendly owners and a super personal approach. Bourbon is a tiny town and everyone who came in while we were there was welcomed by name. The coffee bar has two stools and no dairy on hand so we enjoyed expressos with almond milk and a vegan milk chocolate bar. Our well behaved pup was welcomed and water provided. It was a wonderful break from an endless road and a reminder of all the corners where life happens in a slow, agreeable way. A little steamed milk in our expressos would have made this a five star review
