It was the most delightful salon. There was soft music playing in the background, very clean and well lit, no children running around, and mostly it smelled clean. Not like pure chemicals. She greeted me upon entry and introduced herself. She gave me an application to fill out. Very short. She directed me to the room I would be in and explained everything she would be doing during the appointment. She never once made me feel uncomfortable or even slightly uneasy. She was purely profession and had the sweetest personality I think I've ever encountered here in the south! It took me 3 visits of trying the different stylists to find the one that I like best, but each time I was pleased with my haircut so I kept coming back. Now I ask for Kasha every time. I have straight, but thick hair and she does a great job cutting it to make it more manageable. She is also very friendly, but not nosy like I feel hair stylists sometimes are. It is a little expensive, but not ridiculously so. It's worth it! If you sign up for their emails you can get special email deals like 15-20% off last minute appointments for that week. I am a college student, so I take advantage of this! I have also had a pedicure done here by Kayla, she does wonderful work and is also very friendly. I have recommend a friend to the Studio for a haircut and she was happy with the results as well. Sometimes I do have to wait, even if I am on time for my appointment, but I have never had to wait more than 10-15 minutes. Most of the time I wait about 5 minutes or so. By the way, because they are an Aveda salon, when you check out and pay they will introduce you to the Aveda products that the stylist used on you. I have never felt pressured to buy these items, I just say no thanks. (My hair is pretty low maintenance.) Don't feel obligated to buy the Aveda products if you don't want to. .

She ended up plucking hairs that have never plucked before and it was really painful and it even bled. I had scabs from the bleeding on my arch for 2 weeks so I'm pretty upset about that. I like the shape of my eyebrows but I just wish it wasn't so painful.
