History
Established in 2012.
Founders, Steven and Trena Waugh have been farming together since 1988 in Glastonbury. Their business started by selling their home grown produce at local farmers markets, and by 2012 they decided to open a store close to home to save travelling. Being born and bred in the region for more than 6 generations, they got to know the local farmers throughout the region and were able to get quite an extensive range of produce from throughout the region, delivered in store fresh daily.
Meet the Business Owner: Trena W.
Trena Waugh (originally Webber), was born and raised in Chatsworth, Gympie. She married Steven Waugh in 1988, when they began their farming career together. Steven had been farming since he was a child. Their love for fresh produce and customer satisfaction grew, with their produce being sold from Hervey Bay right down the coast to Melbourne. In 2012 they decided to scale back and open a small store in the Southside Town Centre. Trena loves antiques and decor, and has fitted the store out with a rustic atmosphere. Her love for food and passion drove her to expand in 2015, to include a Gourmet Cafe, where all food is prepared on-site from fresh local ingredients.
