My experience with King Law began in November 2024 after receiving papers for child support arrears…read moreand contempt motions. I reached out for a consult and was very explicit that I wanted the most seasoned family law attorney on staff, regardless of cost. I was then handed off to Hallie Daniels. What took place over the next 2 and a half months was a complete waste of time, energy and money (over $10k completely wasted). I was nickel and dimed to death for everything. She had to constantly consult and brainstorm with another attorney (which I'll describe why in a minute), none of these brainstorming sessions were detailed to me or with me, I was only billed constantly for them. I suspect those were to make her look busy to the owner and to continue to bring in money for the firm. Again, I was never explained what or if any details came out of those so-called brainstorming sessions. However, I was double billed (they call it split billing, it's split billing FOR ME, not them. This practice should be illegal as I was constantly paying those frivolous charges. The reason for her having to constantly consult with other attorneys was.......get ready for it.....SHE JUST GRADUATED FROM LAW SCHOOL / MADE BAR JUST 3 MONTHS PRIOR TO TAKING MY CASE!!! This after I demanded a senior attorney! Talk about an incredible injustice, her incompetence was obvious and I had to continually ask if she had other attorney's look at her work or suggestions. In addition, I was constantly having to prove myself to her, especially after she caved in to my ex's attorney (which knew he was dealing with a very inexperienced 'lawyer' with no real world experience and was easy pickings). After every discussion she had with him she reacted as he did and I felt I was against both of them. She NEVER defended me, never fought for me, never was assertive for my case and my rights, she just rolled right over every time he showed any aggression. I knew I was dealing with an incompetent lawyer when the first thing she wanted to do was settle, she hadn't even looked at any evidence or details, none. Just settle. I rejected and then she tried it again multiple times. This law firm will not fight for you, that's 100% guaranteed. I would have been better off and saved over $10k by representing myself. Along with her lack of experience is her complete lack of the law, time and time again she had to consult with other attorneys (again, me being billed for it) and still came back with answers I could have googled myself. This entire experience was a disaster and a nightmare, I was billed for every single email I sent with basic questions, every time I posted something on the client portal and she had to read it I was billed for it. They drained the money as soon as I deposited it. And to make it worse their billing isn't detailed out as to exactly what they are charging you for, it's basically "$500 - filing and research" type of BS. Even when asked they still don't produce the details. Along with hurting my chances of a fair court trial I wasted 2 and a half months, $10k and all my energy helping her do her job. They give me a newbie lawyer after I asked for a senior lawyer, never fought for me once, never defended me to the ex's lawyer, constantly billed me for 'busy' work (on slow weeks I guess the brainstorming sessions is to ensure money keeps flowing in) and to beat it all she filed motions on my behalf that were not presented accurately to the court (as my new lawyer informed me); again she hurt my chances of a fair trial, her inability and inexperience is concerning. This person isn't even a junior lawyer and is playing with people's lives. THAT IS NOT ONLY UNPROFESSIONAL BUT UNETHICAL. Several times through this nightmare I asked for another attorney and had zero feedback, replies or help, I even asked for the owner of the firm to help with my case to which I was told "he doesn't take on cases, he mostly does just the management stuff". I tried as hard as I could with this attorney and this firm but in the end it was a disaster, I would like to have that $10K+ back and spend on a real lawyer. I WILL NEVER REFER THIS FIRM AND IF ANYTHING WILL WARN PEOPLE OF IT. If you want to waste time, lose your case, have no defense and have your bank accounts drained then by all means use these incompetent crooks!

Incompetent legal representation. Overbilled at every turn. Cost was three times the original…read morequote. After three attempts in court to get my case heard, never did because the attorney did not file properly. Starting over with a legal team who knows what they are doing.
