I am extremely frustrated with my experience with 1st Liberty Insurance Agency…read more I paid approximately $11,000 for my insurance policy. I was then charged an additional $2,039.54, which I believe was not properly owed. I have spent months trying to get this matter explained and resolved. I contacted the agency multiple times and attempted to resolve the issue directly. I did not receive the resolution I was looking for, and my experience communicating with the agency was extremely frustrating. I disputed the $2,039.54 charge with my bank, but the dispute was denied. I have also filed a formal complaint regarding this matter. I am asking for a simple thing: an explanation of exactly what the $2,039.54 charge was for and why it was charged after I had already paid approximately $11,000 for my policy. I am extremely disappointed with the way this situation has been handled. After paying thousands of dollars for insurance, I expected much better communication and customer service. I am still seeking a resolution and the return of the $2,039.54. This review reflects my personal experience and my ongoing attempt to resolve this billing dispute.

I tried to figure it out myself and was totally confused. I knew I could get help from any insurance company nationwide as during the pandemic we have all gotten used to using Zoom. It turned out that one of the top companies in the country to help us with this was here in Martin County. I called Owens Insurance and was able to talk to Gary right away. He was extremely helpful on the phone. I made an appointment for us to meet with him the next week. We were so impressed with him after meeting with him in person that we decided right then and there this was who we needed to use. My husband told me that from now on he will let me decide who we should use for everything because this turned out so well. If I could give more than 5 stars to Owen Insurance I definitely would.
