But you're a die-hard thrift store browser, I would definitely recommend persistence when it comes to this place - from what I can tell, they have a good influx of stock, and if you get here early, there's certainly a chance you'll find something worthwhile before it all gets picked over. In addition to clothes (and shoes), there's also a decent selection of books and accessories, as well as some home accents. Men should also know that there's a section for them as large as the women's - pretty unusual for such shops! If you have any interest in browsing charity shops, definitely stop in if you're in the area - it's so small it certainly won't take you long to have a look around!

She hovered around me looking at the racks and every-time I walked away from a rack she hurriedly went through and checked every Single item. You can find the shop by address or the letters that read "Ollamar Travel" in spray paint. There was a nice selection of coats and a few lovely dresses when I visited. I also found cute table top accessories, candle holders and pull out organizers that look like dresser draws. You can also donate your old clothing in-store.

I also spotted a beautiful suit by YSL for £80 but alas it wasn't my size. I love how they wrap your clothes in paper and put a little Oxfam sticker on it. For me the little details mean so much I also discovered a band of clothing which is on sale here called Junky styling a brand by two sisters who make clothes from recycled materials. There was a dress on sale here which was beautifully made from old trousers with red and white lining.

As a fashion student I was working on a shirt project - what better place to find various shirts to a reasonable pricing - they gave me a special discount for it. This charity shop has less dressy things but more casual items, such as cardigans, hats, shirts, pullovers...From Mango, M&S to Missoni and Rocha. The staff is very friendly and you have to remind yourself they all do it on a voluntary basis. If you are getting rid of some of your old clothes, shoes or fan...make your way there and they are grateful for your contribution!

The four star review I gave Trinity Hospice previously is no longer valid. Since then the shop had…read morebeen closed for several weeks while a re-vamp took place. The work has now finished and Trinity Hospice is no longer a charity shop - it's a charity BOUTIQUE! It was not messy before but slightly cluttered. Now however, the interior has been expanded - more stuff on display but more room move around in. Not just roomier though, the place looks completely different. It looks classy, a classy charity shop/boutique! And better still, my favourite part of it - the book section at the back, has had the biggest extension. It's now twice the size it was previously and there's even a new leather sofa and coffee table in the centre of the room. They're not for sale, just to get comfy on. It still has a changing room and all it had before but they've also added a knitting section. I liked Trinity Hospice before but now, with the extra space and the redecoration, it's become the finest charity shop (boutique really!) that I've come across, It's marvellous, Ian

They tend to label the pieces with gigantic tags that includes the brand name, year, and price. Downstairs is a Bargain Basement, and I seriously felt like I was going to get murdered there due to how small the room is and how low the ceiling are. If I'd gone missing, nobody would ever know... but seriously though, there's some more interesting stuff to browse through downstairs. I saw some Salvatore Ferragamo women's shoes.

No matter how hard they tried to convince me, however, I managed to evade the fingers of 'being got' in the elusive game of shop tag. What i mean by such convoluted words is that although Retromania was fine, it failed to get my attention in any way. A bit over priced with hats between 10 and 60 pounds, a Gianni Frattini dress at 100, and a slightly stained 30's-style dress at 70, I was not enchanted just like a Snow White who didn't eat her apple. Retromania's got your run-of-the-mill vintage and your run-of-the-other-mill "is it really worth this much?" prices. On the reverse-run-of-the-mill, the shop does have a good, funky feel to it and their music selection which went from Sonny and Cher into the Beatles was unobtrusively nice. Now like Ionesco, I'll write "I'm waiting for the aqueduct to come and see me at my windmill," because that involves very non-run-of-the-mill mill situations.
