We are very disappointed by the service and most importantly the ethics of this store. We purchased…read morea piece of jewelry recently on our visit to Santiago from this store. We can't speak Spanish and the sales lady showed us the price in US dollars on her calculator. We agreed and I paid for the item with a credit card. When I got back to the hotel and checked my credit card account we were charged 10x the amount that was shown on the salespersons calculator. Whether this was an intentional or an unintentional mistake I don't know. We took the jewelry back in the original packaging to get this refunded as I was not willing to pay this amount for this piece of jewelry.
Yes I should have been more vigilant making this purchase but I trusted that this store in such a famous shopping mall had a good reputation.
They absolutely REFUSED to accept the return of the jewelry.
My gripe and bad review is because of the unwillingness to admit that they made a mistake and were not willing to compromise.
