The staff is always friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to help, whether you're an experienced shooter or just getting started. The shop cat is the best!!! What really makes this business amazing, is its commitment to our community. The owner has gone above and beyond to support local youth by opening the range for our Hopkins County 4-H Shooting Sports team when we unexpectedly needed a place to practice before tournaments. That generosity gave our kids the opportunity to prepare when they otherwise might not have been able to. If you're looking for great customer service, a well-stocked gun shop, and an excellent range, I highly recommend stopping by. They have definitely earned my business.

This should have been done a long time ago…read more I was in the area for a job. I'm out in the middle of nowhere so there wasn't many choices when I stumbled upon Joiners. I was searching for a little spring. I had little confidence this tiny place would have what I needed. I walked into the store and maneuvered down the cramp aisles. An employee (maybe the owner) comes over to help me. I tell him what I need and he pulls out the board displaying the springs and rifles through the drawer to find me what I needed. Then he charges me 50¢. And then when I said get him next time. I told him I didn't live there. He said whenever. Wow! People still do stuff like that? So I walked out to my truck, dug around in my backpack and found 50¢ to bring back inside.

Being the only place around I've had no choice after the 1st time to go back, but I wouldn't have personally. And after this time I will drive before I do again. I had my pool closed by them and all my pipes froze that winter. Had to replace them. Then I ordered a piece I needed and waited 3 weeks to get it. First it was shipping which is understandable but then it was had to wait for a warehouse somewhere that has it or something, then no call back to say it ever arrived. Called multiple times and it was something each time. Then I call 3 weeks after the initial order and they say yes it's in...and no one calls me to tell me after all this until I call you??! So it's almost July and I haven't opened our pool all bc of this piece and waiting, while it sits there and no one calls to tell me. I could've drove or just figured out how to order it myself for that service.

I've been buying Carhartt and Dickies for the last several years. But, it's usually pretty expensive. Brown Duck Outlet has Carhartt coats, pants, overalls, and belts marked way down. Pretty comparable to Sierra Trading Post's pricing, but you can try before you buy here. They also carry Red Wing Shoes, and a couple of other work boot brands.
