My problem had to do with their complicated accounting. Their membership fees seem beneficial but they charge separately for services that are normally included in a grooming, and despite my efforts I could not get someone to clearly explain how their memberships were beneficial. I was overcharged twice and although they did agree to reimburse me a couple of hundred dollars, I never received a complete accounting as requested. ( we only used their services twice?) I was the one who had to question the credit card bill and was told that the person with whom I spoke didn't really understand what had happened and would have someone more knowledgeable call me regarding their mistakes. I never heard from anyone. I am again asking for a complete accounting from them on my account. Even with the parking difficult at times, it is unfortunate that their fees were not more clearly explained before I began using their services, because I really like a lot of other things about the facility.

This setup is perfect because I can bathe him myself and then have a groomer trim his nails right after. Shane trimmed my dachshund's nails and did an absolutely perfect job. Huge thank you to the girl at the front desk for being so informative and helpful, especially as a first-time client. If you just want to try out their side services, I recommend starting there before fully committing, but honestly, this might be the best grooming salon in the SFV that I've seen in a very, very long time.

We rushed our dog to the vet. He needed staples and antibiotics. For days, the owner of Bone Sweet Bone was unreachable. We called and emailed multiple locations. We demanded to know what happened. We asked to review the surveillance footage. No one could give us any information. Finally, we received separate contact information for the manager. He asked for the vet bill and paid it. We were told that there was no video footage of an attack. Our dog must have "played too hard." Now that we use a different daycare with live video cameras, we know that was a lie. Our dog keeps to himself and socializes with the staff. Bone Sweet Bone should be ashamed. Everything was handled poorly and with zero accountability. If anyone asks for a daycare, I always warn them about Bone Sweet Bone.

This is the latest medical recomendation for neutering larger breeds acording to the American Kennel Club: "Research results have shown that early spay or neuter (before the age of 12 months) can impact the incidence of different types of cancer, hip dysplasia, and development of canine cruciate ligament ruptures." I wish this business would take this medical information into account in structuring their requirments for boarding, and make some accommodations for owners who are trying to comply with the best medical advise for their pets.

Maggie asked me in detail exactly what I wanted done with each cat. They followed my instructions to a T. The entire staff was wonderful and I felt comfortable leaving my babies there. However, I was concerned my kitties would be sitting in their carriers all day. I was so happy that upon picking them up, they were all sitting near each other in extremely large crates rather than in their small carriers. All the kitties looked amazing. Perfect lion cuts. Anyway, fast forwarding.... In the middle of the groom session he called me to come pick up my dogs because he couldn't handle it. He 1/2 way shaved down one of my dogs to the skin and did not touch the other. So I picked up my 1/2 shaven, naked & butchered dog and my untouched dog. If he didn't understand the assignment, he shouldn't have taken the job. I called another groomer and explained the same thing and the situation and the other groomer took me right away and had my dogs looking and smelling nice in no time.
