This is the worst organization to do business with. If you have an infant or toddler, do not think of enrolling him or her with this organization. I am not sure how they stay in business. School districts should be ashamed of contracting with them! read more

You (kids or parents) don't have to be beautiful, wealthy of wear expensive sneakers to feel valued here. And the parents are a thousand times friendlier than the ones at Gladwyne Elementary. If you read "Battle hymn of the tiger mom," Baldwin is more like the mom and FCS is more like the dad. They both end up as Ivy League professors but take different paths to get there. So, it depends what you are looking for. FCS is intentional in teaching excellent academics (just look at the list of colleges the kids attend), critical thinking, intellectual risk taking and compassion. The school uses various strategies to foster psychological and social well being and the result is that kids are not bogged down by loneliness, depression, anxiety, etc. Sports are in perspective alongside drama and music, and other co-educational activities. The curriculum integrates concepts with interesting experiences, such as going to the Rennaisance Faire as part of the social studies lesson on societal structures or examining cheek cells through microscopes for a biology lesson in cell structure. No wonder the school makes kids eager to learn and study! Our child has attended three schools and is by far the happiest at FCS. . Check it out for yourself: Friendscentral.org OPEN HOUSE Sat. However after the first few weeks at little sprouts we were convinced we had made the right decision. Teachers let us know what he's up to each day, how long he slept, if he ate all his food, what he didn't like and what he did. Lots of constructive feedback and information. At least one picture each day, sometimes so many pictures my co-workers wonder who's texting emailing so much! I really and truly feel our son gets a lot of support here and that Little Sprouts in north wales is a great nurturing environment for him to grow and learn!

Over the past 7 years, we sent our children to 3 different local preschools/daycares in the area. One of them is a nationally known "brand" and yeah it was pricey and good, but our favorite place hands down is All Children Smile. The owner is always on site, the facility is spotless considering all those darn kids, and the yard/playground area is huge. All the teachers and aides knew my shy daughter by both her name and personality. Even the ones who didn't teach her! And she loved this school. Great communication, pre-K curriculum and a safe atmosphere.

As for the previous review, parents know that they have to put in their church envelopes. They know the amount and they also are warned well in advance that their child will not receive their report card if their envelopes aren't turned in. Make no mistake, this is a business to them and not some place of God or morality. Pay up 100% or your child pays the price.

As a graduate from the Coatesville area school district I had no problem succeeding in post secondary school and graduate school. I feel the district gets a bad rap for a few bad apples on a very large district . As a parent now , I moved back to the area to raise my family and am confident in my choice of school district. I hope somebody reads this and does actual research on the benefits the district has to offer instead of listening to false rumors. There are plenty of quality educators as well as a world class sports program .

IT BEATS PUBLIC SCHOOL…read more My son goes there for pre-K. We love the school and their staff. Once my daughter is old enough to attend, we will be sending her too. I only have one concern, and it's a major one, they need to tighten up security on the grounds. I would like to see them a hire a police officer or an armed security guard. I know people will probably say why, but the safety of my(and your) children is the most important thing that I think of when I'm not there with them. My wife and I pay a decent amount of money to send our son here. I wouldn't mind paying a little more if they could meet those concerns. Please don't take this review as a bad one. This was only negative that I have with the school, but I think it's worth mentioning.
