THIS IS COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE! I have called corporate office at least twice, spoken to employees, and talked with store supervisors. In the past, almost all of my entire family's clothing was purchased here, locally, in our Burkes store. As of over a month ago, all of my shopping will be done elsewhere. I refuse to spend my hard earned money in a store that doesn't think enough of its customers to have a clean, maintained indoor plumbing. Over the past several years, I have loved shopping at Burkes, but as time passed the store has notBreen properly maintained AND managed. Along with so many one-of-a-kind little girl & boy's clothing, messenger boy hats, Noggin' Warmers, bonnets, bow headbands, booties, shoes, tutu's, monogrammed shirts, bedding, diaper bags & books, there were the MOST beautiful little lamb banks & room decor! The owner was so friendly & helpful! I also picked up several of the cutest Vintage Paper Mache' Easter Bunnies & Chicks by Debra Schoch Collection.... Bethany Lowe Designs. Had a great experience with Davis Furniture. Went in on a Saturday morning expecting to order a…read moresofa and love seat. The salesperson said we didn't have to order, we could have it today. We weren't prepared to take it, so she said they could deliver. I said how much and when. She replied free and today. We were overjoyed. We never expected to have the furniture in our home the same day. Everyone, including the two men that delivered, were kind and courteous. We will definitely shop at Davis Furniture again!

The lazy boy was for my bad back and it has been in the shop majority of the time getting repaired since I've had it. I had to involve lazy boy to get the right part ordered but laZy boy cannot do much for me because Davis is independently owned. This is when they should step up and make things right. I have been without my chair 4 months now and they could care less. They already got my money and that's not how businesses should handle customer service. They informed me, I would have my chair already if I hadn't contacted lazy boy! Yeah I would have it alright, back in the shop. Davis needs to make things right or my lawyer will. The whole purpose of the chair for my hurt back has been defeated because it is a faulty chair from an unreliable store.
