My wife and friends of ours been here before and insisted we ho back. We had late breakfast (more likely brunch) and everything we tried was very good. The service is very efficient and food and armosphere can be described as upscale diner with the twist. We had shakshuka. American Breakfast, mini syrniki, scrambled eggs and toasts. Prices are in line with other places in the area.

We recently enjoyed the friends and family opening of Fam Fre in Sunny Isles Beach. The rush hour drive up from Downtown was well worth it considering the flavors, fair pricing and welcoming atmosphere! This restaurant is located in a lively shopping center right across from some of Sunny Isles' glitziest condos, with plenty of free parking, something we don't take for granted in Miami. Formerly named Family Fresh Café, Fam Fre has been part of the community since 2014 and has now evolved into a fusion bistro. This rebrand brings a revamped menu that is broad but well executed, featuring comfort food staples like Eggs Benedict and French Toast in the morning, to French Onion Soup and Boeuf Stroganoff in the evening. Everything we tried felt like a delicious and thoughtful twist on the familiar with generous portions. Here was our order throughout the evening: Beverages - Virgin Piña Colada ($10) - My wife said this leaned more smoothie than cocktail because of the fresh pineapple, and I have to agree. The menu also clearly lists virgin drink options, which is such a considerate touch for non-drinkers. - Glass of Chablis ($16) - Crisp and easy-drinking, paired beautifully with the mussels appetizer we had (see below) - Glass of Riesling ($16) - Balanced and versatile, actually the first non-sweet Riesling I've had. I'll have to look back and see what the name of this wine was so I can buy a bottle! Appetizers - Moules Marinières ($23) - Mussels soaked in one of the best wine-based sauces we've ever had anywhere; a Chardonnay cream sauce! Many French and seafood restaurants use some sort of white wine base, but this sauce stood apart as very creamy and flavorful, and one you'll want to soak up with bread. - Spicy Tuna Sashimi ($18) - A new menu addition. Thick slices of ahi tuna lightly crisped in a sesame seed crust, served with a spicy soy sauce. Fresh, clean, and surprisingly filling for a light dish. Entrees - Chicken Cordon Bleu ($25) - Crispy on the outside, and juicy on the inside. Layered with ham and cheese, and finished with a creamy gruyère sauce. My wife's choice of asparagus and fries for the sides rounded this out nicely. I believe the dish brought 4 pieces of Cordon Bleau, 2 of which we took home. - Boeuf Stroganoff ($22) - Sasha, our cheerful and attentive server, suggested this instead of the Duck Breast, and what a fantastic suggestion it was! This isn't your typical saucy noodle stroganoff. Instead, this take on a classic is plated almost like a tartare, with slices of beef, champignon mushrooms, and crispy potatoes layered neatly, topped with crispy onions and served with pickles on the side. Very unique and memorable! Desserts - Crêpe Suzette ($16) - Accompanied by fresh orange slices and pieces of raspberry. Light and bright with citrus flavors. If you like sweet and tangy, this is the dessert for you. - Napoleon Cake ($10) - With Sunny Isles full of Eastern European influence, this was a must-order!Flaky, creamy, and not sweet. More rich and delicate than heavy. Our server, Sasha, was fantastic! She was knowledgeable, and spot-on with her recommendations. We were also checked on by Mila (who we believe is one of the General Managers), which added a warm, personal touch to our dinner. Fam Fre is the kind of restaurant Miami needs more of. In a world of rising prices, uncertainty, especially in the hospitality business, it feels refreshing to see a true neighborhood spot that still remembers that it's serving its local community. You can see it not only in the food but also in the pricing and overall service provided. We're already looking forward to returning-- maybe after a beach day or a stroll around Bal Harbour Shops, to try some of the pasta dishes like the Carbonara or Truffle Risotto. This is a restaurant worth traveling across the County for and one we're excited to revisit soon.

FamFre just entered a new era and it may be my favorite. They have killer smoothies like their Mango Via and their Fam Fre for the gains. Their best app is their quesadilla with shrimp. I was actually so surprised by how good it was. They redefined salads for me with their strawberry burrata and my husband's favorite, the fried eggplant with feta. Now this French onion soup surprised me, first off because it was delicious and second because it was served in the proper plate. But the plot twist was the tom yum soup, like excuse me but who knew this little cafe can make sure a good tom yum? Now jumping to this branzino fillet with the most amazing lime cream but my husband argues that the beef stragonoff takes the cake with its crispy onions and bbq reduction. Oh and don't worry dessert is amazing too like their antena cherry pistachio gelato that tasted like legit quality gelato. Trust me. I was just in Italy and their Berry Cake expertly layered. Now I was told they had an amazing homemade pavlova but unfortunately ran out which just means I have to come back. They also have a kids room with a tv projecting the activity of the room. It's a really cool concepts so that parents can relax and enjoy their time.

This spot has amazing service and really good food. The vibes are chill and it's family friendly. They have a playroom in the back for the kids, a bar, fresh smoothies and juices and more. We absolutely loved the food here. The soups and salads are a must to start. The flavor of the beef stroganoff was delicious. I want to comeback and try them for breakfast. Highly recommend.

Pavlova

We had a lovely meal at Fam Fre. The atmosphere and staff are welcoming. I've seen reviews that the service is slow. We found it just right. We weren't rushed and could relax and enjoy our French onion soup, beef stroganoff, pavlova and San Sebastián cheesecake. Their focaccia is also delicious. Will come back for breakfast another time. Lana was a wonderful server.

Very friendly server, I believe his name is David from Moldova and the food was very good. We had the herring and potatoes, Caspian salad, and the veal liver shish kebabs (if you know, you know). The decor was absolutely amazing. Comfortable seats and clean silverware, I pay very close attention to that. The only thing I would say is that the Singer lacked energy, she just didn't entice or influence anyone in any way to go and dance- shame. There is a singer that used to work at the pulse restaurant in Aventura that close down, he would like this place up. Half the restaurant was full.

Mnogo Vkuzno! Very Delicious!…read more The fact that I was allowed to eat indoors instead of on their outside patio although I was wearing shorts and beachwear, and still received excellent service from Anastasia secures the 5th star. I was in the shopping plaza at its neighbor the pharmacy to pick up last minute beach stuff when I saw Art Priori. With the name, I thought it was an art gallery but noticed the menu outside. Anastasia welcomed me and I sat at a very comfy banquette room while listening to chill downtempo edm to enjoy my lunch. Although it wasn't listed on the menu, I started with a refreshing glass of moscato. Its light sweetness was perfect to set the vibe for a beach afternoon. My appetizer was a serving of "Dates a Cheval". Art Priori amps up the classic bacon wrapped dates with a generous serving of goat cheese. The tanginess of this cheese is a delicious balance of the date's sweetness. Although it was a beach day, I was feeling fancy and not just looking for a burger (which they do have on the menu). Instead I enjoyed their Pozharsky cutlet. Served on a bed of mashed potatoes and chopped mix veggies, this is ground chicken breaded in cracker crust and flavored in a mushroom sauce. I enjoyed the original presentation and flavor. Topped with fresh berries and a light drizzle of honey, a yummy medovik (honey layer cake) closed off my very tasty lunch. This Eastern European classic is a must have!

I had the Montreal smoked meat poutine. The food was delicious, it wasn't as good as Schwartz's smoked meat, but it was close enough considering that we are in Florida and that smoked meat doesn't exist here! Isabelle our server was super nice, she was efficient and professional. She came more than a few times to ask us if everything was fine. The ambiance is comfortable. Why four stars, it's simply overpriced! My bill was 27.00$ and my friend's 33.00$, that's 45.00$ Canadian for a smoked meat sandwich, a small poutine and a coke. It's frankly exaggerated! Best of luck next summer when the snowbirds will be back home. I'm American, the currency rates don't affect me, but for Canadians, that's another story. Now for my French Canadian friends!
