I will admit I'm not super picky about my hair cut. I don't have that much hair to begin with so as…read morelong as it's shorter than when I came in I'm typically fine. However this is the only place where I have actually noticed the quality of the hair cut. When I leave here I can tell that the hair cut is next level compared to anywhere else I've been. They also take significantly longer to get everything right compared to other places. Not that it takes super long or anything, but they spend the time to trim around the ears etc really well. The places itself is nice and has an old school vibe. It's right in downtown Lenoir with plenty of street parking around. As long as I'm in the area I will continue to come here.

The cut was very fast/short. At times he seemed more interested in what was going on on the flat screen televison on the wall. There were lots of "pauses" in between snips and cuts. He took no hair off the top, just sides. The end product actually looked pretty good (I guess he can cut hair in his sleep, he's been doing so long), as good as where I normally go. I think they probably cater to an older crowd who like to hang out and shoot the "bull", so to speak. At $12 a cut you can't beat it.

I got to statesville and called around and looked at some reviews and found Jfeims Barbershop I called and they were able to schedule me for the afternoon for a beard trim. When I stepped in I was taken back to the days of arriving at the barber shop first thing in the morning and being in a great social atmosphere. The conversations were hilarious and the vibe was good. The customer service is what stood out the most. I got a great trim and line up and the only regret is that the business is not closer to Charlotte so I could make this my regular. If you are in the Statesville area and you need a cut or trim stop by and make sure you wait on the 3rd chair and you will be well taken care of.
