This experience was the furthest from hospitable, coming from a true New Yorker. The owner then shared with us he's not from NY and has no idea what it means to be a NY bar (who claims he's from Pennsylvania). A lot of question marks. Then he continued to shame us for being from New York, admitted he never went there, and then proceeded to brag about being from bumblefuck, Pennsylvania, and how his son never pays for anything when he goes to Pennsylvania. As someone who has been to NYC bars this isn't a place that resembles "nyc" and should not be considered a place to grab for drinks. 2/10 would not recommend!

Other standouts include the american negroni (with bourbon instead of gin), and the bahia, an island inspired drink made with rum, pineapple, and coconut. It tasted like an adult milkshake done right, a true delight. We enjoyed the place so much we came twice in just four days. Bonus points for giving free tap water. (They do give you ear plugs) I would recommend they put a hotel key fob from the bar to the hotel because we had a drunk girl sneak in the hotel and try to get into our room while we were sleeping.
