Specialties
Fala Brasil is more than just a portuguese language school. We cook, dance, sing and we help our students to get to know the brazilian culture and have unforgettable experiences. Therefore, we think that knowledge and experience go hand-in-hand. According to this, we have developed activities turning theory into real-life situations, like interacting with locals in the streets, supermarkets and events. In this way, the foreigners understand the diversity in the country and feel more comfortable and part of the brazilian society. Using an interactive methodology based on neurolinguistics, we apply technical knowledge that facilitates rapid speaking and good understanding of spoken and written Portuguese.
History
Established in 2012.
Fala Brasil was thought while Marcelle Bottini, CEO of the course, was living in Australia and studying in a public school offered to immigrants by the government. As a foreign, she experienced how difficult and challenging is to live in a different country. At school, she had the opportunity to learn about the culture, rules, laws and interact with locals and people around the world. These experiences helped her feel more comfortable and engage with the australian society in a easier way. When she got back to Brazil, she let her house to be used as part of the couch-surfing project, that receive backpackers for free. In exchange, she got a lot of information about what travelers want to know about Brazil and especially about Rio de Janeiro culture. Due to all these experiences, Marcelle started to teach portuguese and help her students to get involved into the brazilian culture. Inspired by networking concept and entrepreneurship notion she thought bigger and created the school.
