So so good. We went this evening for dinner. They were busy when we arrived so we have our name and number for the wait list. We had to grab a few things from Walmart so we ran there, they called while we were checking out and I told them we would be there in 10 mins. The girl said that was fine. Our table was ready when we arrived. It was still kind of busy but our waitress was wonderful and attentive. We had the Buffalo chicken dip as an appetizer, it wasn't super spicy and it had a great taste. The chips tasted fresh like they were made there. Me, my husband and my son all had burgers. I had the mushroom Wagyu burger IT was delicious, I kept the side of chips and dipped them into homemade ranch. My husband had the morning burger upgraded the burger to wagyu and upgraded to fries he said it was delicious l. My son had the regular burger I can't remember the exact name with fries. The desserts were fantastic brown butter cake, HOMEMADE tiramisu legit the best I have ever had, and homemade baklava which was also the best I've ever had in this area. the owner/chef Osh came out and talked to us and he was so so nice. The first couple times we ate at the Fairways, we loved it. Really like the outdoor dining area. First time we ate there was in June. Food, atmosphere and service were all great and our other experiences were good to until....Last night we ate there... Atmosphere was very tense atmosphere among staff. Our drinks were terrible. We nicely stated our concern to the server, shortly afterwards a dark haired guy with a ponytail (the owner I'm assuming) came out and was very rude, defending the drinks. He later brought our food, practically slammed our plates on the table, didn't speak to us and didn't ask if we needed anything else. We had no silverware. Rich had to go inside and find silverware and napkins. Service was very disappointing. I know they are short staffed, but geese!!!!! Most likely lost us as customers!! The food here is always amazing. Great beer selection, although I think they're more known for their wine selection. Food generally takes awhile, so I wouldn't recommend it if you're trying to get in and out quickly. Service is kind of hit-or-miss -- I've gotten great, seasoned servers and some who are a bit inexperienced and forgetful. No big deal though. read more

We enjoyed the ahi tuna appetizer, Greek burger and chicken salad. All of it was good. Only thing I'd change was the bun, it fell apart quickly, need something sturdier for a serious burger like that! Service was great and our server was genuinely pleasant which seemed to be a trickle down effect the owner had on his staff. We'll be back. read more

A pleasant surprise. I'm been visiting this part of West Virginia for years and didn't know about Fairways. Stopped there for the first time this week and enjoyed the salmon. The downside of the visit was the uncomfortably cold temperature inside the restaurant although the unseasonably warm temperatures outside may have had something to do with that. The wait staff was friendly and very helpful. Certainly worth a return visit. read more

Good food options for people who are bored of normal local fair, but quite overpriced for food cooked behind a cash register in an attached gas station. Food took about 40 minutes to receive. Staff was not very warm, but they were generally fine. Almond Cranberry Brie appetizer was very yummy but probably better served as a dessert. Pasta came heavy on the pasta, light on the sauce and the meat. Gyro was pretty good, but light on meat as well. Great beer and wine selection but of course, very pricey considering what another Yelper said, essentially that you can get the same beer in the attached gas station for multitudes cheaper. In sum, if you're hungry and you've got money to blow and you're not a stickler for service or quality, this place will do the job. If you're just looking for a good selection of drinks, Fairways is even better, but they also sell 6 packs of the same beers in the other side of the building so you may want to just hit the cooler instead. Might return for a drink and an app sometime but not in the near future. read more

Atmospher is awesome. Met the owner, Osh, and you can tell he's passionate about his restaurant. The food is amazing, the beer and wine selection is even better. If you haven't been here you need to. This place is refreshing to go to as opposed to the other hole in the walls in the valley, but there are a few setbacks. Inside the bar it is clean and very nice, however it sits right next to a eyesore gas station (also the owners). Second, the menu does offer some variety, however most of the appetizers seem to be microwaved, I believed the food is cooked next door in the gas station so that just goes without saying. Lastly, the price. Wow. I realize it caters to a more high end class, but when you order 1 beer for about $4.50 and then you can walk literally 50 ft to the gas station next door and get a 6 pack for $6.00, it is just a little odd. That's just one one of the many things on the menu that is overpriced, I honestly haven't felt too comfortable about any purchase I have made there. All in all, I probably won't go back unless one of my friends chooses to go there, it definitely won't be my first choice. Friendly staff though, and the sangria is good, I believe the owner mixes it there himself (in the gas station) and also over priced. read more

Decided to try this place after our first choice was backed up. I am so glad we did! The outside seating was full, which was a little disappointing, but that's not a big deal. We were seated instantly and got drinks very fast. The staff was very friendly, but there were a couple people that came and left before we even got out food. We were there for over an hour before getting our food, which sucked, but I wasn't getting mad because I knew they were slammed and it's easy to forget about an order. The owner was being social with other customers and came over to see how we liked the place, and after finding out that we hadn't gotten our food for over an hour went back into the kitchen and got it out to us in minutes. I had the chicken gyro and house made chips, my date had the Cajun pasta dish - both were very good! I really loved the pasta. Then, he came back to our table and asked us how everything was and made conversation. He asked if I liked Mac and cheese, and then made me some and told us about how he makes everything from scratch and his base sauce and so on. Very friendly guy, we enjoyed his company! We love the gyros. Tiny place tucked away by a gas station, blink and you'll miss it. Nice atmosphere, decent menu selection. BUT- all the tables are high-tops so if you have any disability that keeps you from comfortably sitting at one, this isn't your place. read more

The fried goat cheese with honey is amazing! I've had the Gyro, and the greek salad, and both were very good. Nice cozy little place.

We meet some friends at Fairways to watch a WVU Basketball game on a Saturday afternoon. We were very surprised with this little restaurant / bar. Great food; the salads and appetizers were excellent. Everything was very fresh. Maybe the best Gyro I've ever had. Hummus was very good as well. Lots of other options on the Menu i'd like to try. Good wine list and awesome selections on tap. The staff and owner were all very nice and attentive. We will be going back! read more
