Gailes lies on a stretch of links land between Troon and Irvine on the Ayrshire coast. Gailes lies in the heart of Scotland's Ayrshire Golf coast with several celebrated courses within easy driving distance: Royal Troon - 5 miles Old Prestwick - 8 miles Turnberry - 35 miles. Also nearby, the Loch Lomond Golf Club has recently opened Dundonald Links. I liked this course a lot, the layout wasn't as much fun or interesting as some of the other links courses we have played in Scotland. That said, I thought it was a really solid test and well maintained. The greens were in excellent condition. Greens fee also included a bag tag as well as a very nice 2 course lunch.

Still, he does try to look surprised every year when he gets, oh wow, golf balls! Last Christmas I also found some other great golfing gifs including a little shammy towel to keep that driver in tip top shape, some quirky golf tees and a hat if it's a little chilli out. Overall, a great shop if you're a golfer or know somebody who's into the sport and everything is a really reasonably priced which helps as golfing isn't exactly a cheap sport.
