My brother and I were in Fairmont from out of state and were looking for clothing that was embroidered/silk screened with "Fairmont, Minnesota". Fairmont Awards was recommended to us by a local restaurant. The staff at Fairmont Awards helped us find the perfect polo shirt and tank top, they created an embroidered design, and made sure they completed both shirts in about a half hour so we could take them with us the same day. Their fast and helpful service was very much appreciated. read more

The credit card Capital One refused to refund it because Kohl's wouldn't. I gave both the tracking number which showed the shipment was returned to sender. Today I was told I have to return everything to get my $25 Kohl's cash back. But the purchase is how I earned it so I won't get it back. There's a large home section in the middle of the store with a small furniture selection, multiple home decorations (think elevated Home Goods style), and jams, soup mixes, drink mixes, cake mixes and much more. I was able to find several locally made gifts for family including handmade wool dryer balls, strawberry rhubarb jam, bbq dry rub, and "Melissa & Doug" toys for my one year old niece. Locally made goods were on sale for 30% off, lawn and garden plants were 50% off, and there was also stacked deals going on (20% off 1-2 items, 25% off 3-4 items and 30% off 5 or more). Service was excellent with several associates helping us find our way without being pushy. This is a must-visit while in Fairmont!
