It looked nice, and that's the end of it. Road noise was bad, and it was hard to sleep. Also the air conditioner cycled off and on and it was loud. The tub in the bathroom!!!! It would drain so slowly when showering that the tub would be halfway full by the end of the shower. Only one light in light fixture in bathroom. The breakfast was awful!!! The only thing I thought was edible was the yogurt. I'd look elsewhere if needing a place to stay. read more

Clean hotel with a friendly staff and worth 5 stars. However, if you're looking for a hotel with quick access on and off the road, this isn't it. It's a bit of a ride and the hotel is in the middle of a residential area. There aren't any restaurants that are walkable. The rooms are great and because it's a newer hotel everything is updated and incredibly clean. read more

We stayed a night while on our road trip. The Fairfield was clean. It is the only Marriott property between North Platte, NE and the Denver area. The A/C heater unit is very noisy and went on/off all night. Hard to sleep. I requested a feather free room and had a feather pillow. The bed is soft. What really bothered me was the tub/shower combo. The tub is higher than the floor and when I stepped out I wasn't expecting the drop and fell forward into the toilet. read more

If I can give this dirty hotel a 0 I would but that's not an option. Do not come here cause there is hair everywhere on the floor and everything is broken. The nightstand broke there is caps on the floor and they don't vacuum or dust the place. If you come here good luck cause I am not coming back. read more

Friendly staff, beautiful decor, very nice bathrooms and comfortable beds. What more could you ask for? How about an awesome breakfast, because they have that too. Hotel is clean and the staff is nice, but holy cow, both times I've stayed there I've been on the third floor which means I had someone in the room above me, and both times it was like listening to a herd of elephants all day and all night long. Also, both times I was awoken at around 5 AM to what sounded like little kids running back-and-forth nonstop in the room above me. The only way I would stay here again is if I could get a room on the top (4th) floor. read more

I stayed here on my cross country road trip. Be aware that some of the rooms are in close proximity to the highway and might be a little loud for light sleepers. My first room fell into this category but staff moved me to a more quiet one in the back. This was very much appreciated. The hotel itself seems very new. It is a short drive from Walmart and a decent local restaurant calked Country streak out-- other than that there isn't much on the side of town. read more

Was very impressed with my stay here. Very clean, great amenities, and a nice spread for complimentary breakfast. Carolyn was the attendance for breakfast and she was uber friendly. With all of the overwhelming options available to me (and coming off of having eaten at The Flame Steakhouse the night before!) I opted to go with the Chobani vanilla yogurt and a cup of apple juice. Would absolutely stay here again. Photos don't really do the yogurt and juice justice. 5/5! read more

Overall, the highlight of our stay was the flexibility and accommodating attitude of the staff, who made every effort to overcome various challenges that were out of their control. The hotel has an overwhelming air-freshener scent even as you approach the front door. The scent in the room offered to us was so intense, we knew we could not survive sleeping in it. We asked for a hypo-allergenic room with no air-freshener, but was advised by the staff that they were 'required' to use air freshener in every room. After a couple hours of investigation and negotiation (which we shouldn't have had to do), we were given a room that had not been sprayed with air freshener for several days. We should have been offered this room immediately, when we requested a room without air freshener, especially since the hotel was nearly empty. Despite our request, because of differing room types and computer system 'restraints', we were not offered that room. There were additional challenges getting us officially checked into the room, which created issues with use of the televisions in the room. And, we discovered both TV remotes operated both TVs, which caused problems watching different programs on them...you had to stand up and block the signal from the remote to the TV you did not want to operate. During the 1st night in the room, we noticed a strong smell of what seemed to be 'sewage'. As it turns out, the hotel was built near a sugar factory, which requires sulfur to produce, causing the entire area to have this awful smell at times; thus the overwhelming use of air freshener at the hotel. Although we did not see any, we also noticed huge rodent bait traps along the outside walls of the hotel, which made us a little nervous and overly observant for any activity. The upside of the hotel was the amazing free breakfast and the warmth and friendliness of the staff. Rese, Becky, Marcy, Lala, Joe, Caroline and Paul all gave 100% and did everything they could to compensate for hotel operational issues that seemed beyond their control. Despite the upscale ambiance and newness of the hotel, the issues with the overwhelming scents and operational challenges we had to deal with, although partially compensated for by the staff to the best of their ability during the stay, were never appropriately addressed by hotel management, making the stay unsatisfactory. read more

We were traveling home during the Covid 19 pandemic and needed to stay at a Hotel. We were greeted by a friendly staff person who wore her mask as required. She informed us of how we could still receive a custom breakfast in the morning. The room was very clean, and we slept well. The hotel was conveniently located off Interstate 76. I just returned home from a week stay at this very new hotel. We had two groups of 7 engaged in goose hunts in the local area. We typically began at 5:30 am, before their scheduled 6:00 am breakfast. They graciuosly opened their breakfast buffet early to accommodate our groups! Both Mary and Caroline could not have been more hospitable toward our groups during breakfast. The same can be said of the staff at the reception desk. What a nice change from other hotels! The building itself is very nice and comfortable with great parking. We will definitely use this hotel for future visits! read more

The best hotel offered in Ft. Morgan. After driving through the night, we arrived around noon and were told that check-in for the next day didn't start until 3 PM. After having lunch we went to the hotel and we were greeted by Karen who allowed us to sit in the lobby and wait until check-in. Without a reservation, Karen checked us into a room around 1:30 PM. We were extremely exhausted so this was an incredibly kind gesture. The room was clean, spacey and we rested well. The breakfast was also amazing the next morning. Caroline kindly greeted us and even made us fresh waffles. The customer service is top notch. We will definitely be staying again. Very nice staff and very nice rooms. Two stars for having to make pool reservations. I paid for a hotel with a pool not a reservation only pool. I can determine my own risk if there are too many people in the pool and I'm scared of COVID I won't swim. I'm an American not a communists. read more

Have been to numerous Marriott hotels throughout nation, but the staff at Fort Morgan Fairfield are at a higher level all their own. I really enjoyed this newer hotel. Very curtius staff. Quiet rooms. Large beds were comfortable and love the walk in shower due to my arthritis. I highly recommend this hotel. Easy access to resteraunts and I 76. Also close to Wal-Mart gas and anything else you might need. read more

I rented a room at the Fairfield Inn Suites in Fort Morgan, CO for $89.00 plus tax. At the time, I was not given a receipt which didn't seem out of the ordinary with the COVID crisis. When I went to check out no one was at the front desk, so I waited a few minutes, but no one returned. Since I had never had a problem with the Marriot in the past, I left the key at the desk and left. On October 11 my credit card was preauthorized for $241.92. When I called to question this, I was told that this was just a pre-authorization and my card would not be charged for that amount. On October 12th my credit card was preauthorized for another $241.92. I waited to call because I was originally told they would fix the error. Then on October 13th, my credit card was charged $361.92. I made several calls to correct the mistake and found out that I had been accused of smoking in my room and was being charged an extra $250.00. I informed the manager that I do not smoke, and no one had smoked in my room. He stated he would investigate and call me back. He did not return my call, so I called again. At that time, he told me I had smoked in the room and they were charging me $361.92. I told him I don't smoke so it could not have been me. I again question the $241.92 which the room charge and he could not explain the amount. Since then my calls have not been returned. read more
