Maybe I would have liked to know the place was under construction prior to my arrival - maybe it didn't/doesn't really matter. This work was supposed to be done a while ago but with all of the tariffs/import issues, it was delayed. I understand that. Every day I came "home" from work, something was different. I think it's going to be really nice when done. All in all - giving 5 stars because my room was clean and quiet. The fitness center had enough so that I could get in a decent "hotel workout". The bed was comfortable. There were plenty of options for breakfast but - mostly - everyone I met was professional and friendly. They made me feel like they were, legitimately, happy to see me each day. That matters to this frequent traveler.

The parking lot is well lit and because there weren't too many people there (this was late February) I didn't feel bad taking three spaces with the truck. The night attendant was so pleasant and made us feel right at home; first floor room was clean as I expected and the beds were very comfortable. For me the "catch" at Hampton Inn is the waffle maker and I do like the one that makes four mini waffles. So good!

He was so pleasant and it wasn't that fake "I have to smile because my manager makes me" interaction. He was genuinely kind and welcoming. Check- in was super easy and even though I messed up the reservation, he was very accommodating. He even gave me an apple. Lol, greatly appreciated. They do have parking for large trucks, trailers, and RV's. The hotel is located next to a few restaruants and convenient stores. The breezeways are quiet and there wasn't any suspicious activity noticed. Nothing to worry about in the parking lot. The room was fitting for a family of four and the queen sized beds were very comfortable. I really appreciate the linen betting clean and stain free. The pillows were super soft and clean too. No bugs or weird smells to report. No stains on the well - vacuumed carpets. The bathroom was small but clean. The sink, tub and shower walls were without stains or marks. The shower curtain was clean. I really appreciate the attention to detail the housekeeping staff put into the room. My biggest headache with a lot of hotels is that they don't clean the tub and shower walls well enough and the shower curtains usually need to be replaced. Yuck! I was able to get a good nights rest and enjoyed a little cable TV before I drifted off. They do offer continental breakfast but I was up and on the road before the sun rised. If you're looking for an inexpensive, clean room, with no hassel this is definitely where you want to stay. Get in while the gettings good.

For a stay to save money this is your spot n that's the reason chose this hotel. It's fairly clean don't expect extras. I had checked in - took more time then should have for two gals behind the desk. After waiting for one of them to assist me then both helped gentlemen behind me with his remote - went to get bite to eat and when came back to room called front desk to request couple items - noticed as walked back in from eating that both ladies were sitting at front desk- after I called n let the front desk ring at least 25 rings with no answer went down n yep both still sitting there - wanted to call them out on it but figured it's how this hotel rolls. I asked for extra blanket as the blankets on bed very thin n possibly a couple Extra pillows - definitely look at pictures. King size bed with throw sIze pillows. Breakfast 6am- 10am precooked hard eggs and scrambled eggs with cheese to heat up in a microwave also had biscuits n waffle iron with hot gravy for the biscuits Milk hot tea hot chocolate or coffee for beverages Cereal up top on the fridge None of the tables cleaned while we had breakfast n looked same a wE had checked out shortly after eating Staff lacks on professional manner in many areas - attitude friendliness appearance service - Would I stay here again ?? General - I have never stayed at a Drury Inn before and I had heard good things about them so…read moredecided to give them a try on my last road trip with family. Location - This Drury was in a suburb (Fairview Heights) close to St. Louis. Lots of great restaurants and shopping are just a short drive away. There is also a decent sized mall just down the road. Rooms & Building - After staying at a couple Drury locations, you will notice that each one follows a similar pattern. Lots of seating in the lobby (which is great when getting food), nice size pool and hot tub areas, and sprawling complexes with additional seating nook found throughout. Our room was nice and comfy and easily fit our family of five. The building was in good condition and easy to find right off of the highway. Amenities - This hotel had a cool inside/outside pool that my kids loved to play in and nice (a little small but still relaxing) hot tub. Parking was free and utilized a large, private lot. There was also an office center and a small convenience store to purchase items from. One of the main selling points for me was their free evening dinner and free breakfast. Oh, and I can't forget about the free popcorn in the lobby. Food - While staying here, you are able to take advantage of a free breakfast and dinner buffet. The breakfast layout is your standard hot/cold/continental buffet. Hot options include eggs, breakfast potatoes, breakfast meat, sausage gravy, and waffles. Continental options are available too such as yogurt, cereal, breakfast breads, fruit, etc. I have to say that Drury had the best biscuits I have ever had for a hotel's breakfast buffet. I ate so much biscuits and gravy here, ha! The dinner buffet was great. At first, I thought it would just be a great way to save some $$, even if it wasn't the most enjoyable but the food was actually satisfying and filling. Food included hot dogs, soup, salad, pasta, meatballs and mashed potatoes, nachos, etc. Adults also get three free alcoholic drinks that include various cocktails, beer and wine. The kids can enjoy AYCD soda. Vibe - Easy going and super friendly staff. All the staff worked extra hard to make sure all of the guests were having a great stay, super cool to see. The hotel is definitely geared towards family but includes some nice higher-end touches like comfy seating areas, relaxing pool areas, and a decent size gym. With that being said, there will be a lot of kids running around but it wasn't as loud and crazy as I thought it would be. Reality vs. Online - Pictures that I saw on their website and online matched the quality and condition of the hotel and rooms in-person. No surprises. Price & Final Verdict - I paid about $100 a night. Great bang for your buck, especially when you included the free food and drinks that you can take advantage of. Drury's are a great place to pick if you want a casual all-inclusive experience while traveling, especially with kiddos.

Pro's: Front desk and kitchen staff are so very warm and helpful. Room was quiet and comfortable…read more Con's: run-down. Manager keeps light off in the area around the dining room (tables set up) without recognizing that people sit there for reasons other than waiting for breakfast and evening "kickback". I know they use the lights as messaging to the guests when kickback starts (Though NEVER at other Drury's) but the manager (woman with long blonde hair) walked past me twice sitting in the dark rather than offering to turn on the light while I work on my laptop. Food choices for kick back don't take into account non meat eaters like all other Drury experiences I have had (It's not really free when the room rate (159.00) is much higher than others in the area). I would not recommend this particular Drury though I highly recommend the other Drury's!

This was in close proximity & the non-yelp reviews looked more promising than here. The free night for every 2 booked sealed the deal. On check-in, we were offered our choice of room & selected top floor, corner. It was quiet & adequately cleaned, tho the sloppy repairs made it appear more dirty (ie: brown caulk drips dry in an unappealing visual - there were also tub surround crack repairs that made it look stained.) There is indeed a panoramic view from room 300, as noted on the website. Note: it's of several hotels, a couple of restaurants, parking & the highway. The bed was comfortable, sheets crisp & fresh, temperature control worked well. We skipped breakfast but grabbed coffee, based on the feedback from the guy at check-in. The coffee wasn't terrible. It was decent enough that we got it both mornings. The parking is convenient & the area was good - convenient to walk to several dining options, including open late ones, should the mood strike. On entry to the main lobby, the scent of weed & takeout food hung heavily in the air. The room, however, was odor-free & the windows opened wide. We appreciated the window opening, as the temp was set to 86 on arrival - whew. Diamond Level, booked directly, without points.
