I stayed at FairField inn on July 31 and checked out
August 1,2023 with my sister. We stayed there because we have always loved staying at a Marriott.
When we first arrived to our room it reeked a smell our bathroom was dirt and had a hair on the toilet.
We didn't say anything when we stayed because honestly we aren't those types of people to say something and we didn't care because we only stayed one night. We only stayed there so we could go see the arch. We got ready and we accidentally spilled a small amount of foundation on the sheet. It wasn't big it was small. We checked out. He saw that we were young women. I accidentally left my card there and called asking if it was there. He put me on hold for 40 minutes and then hung up on me. I called again and automatically he knew who was and spoke loudly and with attitude you left your card here. We later went to pick it up. I was then charged 4 hours later an additional 250. I called immediately and asked why. He said you spilled god knows what on the sheets. Ruined the sheets, the mattress cover, the mattress, the pillow, the pillow cases. When in fact we didn't. We spilled a small amount of makeup.
Everyone spills something. Everyone is human. He had an attitude and accused me of messing up his whole room. I asked for photos to send to my bank and to Marriott. He never did. For this amount of money I should've gotten photos when I got charged.
He never did. Called back August 2 and he yelled at me again saying he should've charged me more. He said I ruined his whole room and the total cost was $3000 or something like that and he did me a favor of only charging me 250. Absolutely not. He was mad when we got there, he saw that we were 3 young girls. I called again and automatically he knew who was and spoke loudly and with attitude you left your card here.
