This hotel was very modern & comfy. Breakfast in the morning had so many selections. Food was tasty. Staff were very nice. Even sold beer at a reasonable price. Delivery service at the hotel. Stromboli & fries were good.

Chose this hotel online because it was close to everything. And boy I'm not kidding 8 minutes from the Bloomsburg fair 25 mins as the crow flys from Koenobles Restaurants surround you Stores only mins away if you've forgotten anything Repair shops and dealerships if God forbid you need that But I digress The hotel is a mere 2 yrs old Spotless The staff Amazing I needed help with a tire They offered help I got assistance and the cost to fix the tire was as little 23.11 priceless!!!! Breakfast is here if you wish That is hot and fresh Coffee is good The beds are comfy Walk-in showers I'm over the moon about this place and I will be back during fair time I'm really looking forward to it

For nearly every year of my life over the past 4+ decades, I have made my annual pilgrimage to…read moreKnoebel's, and for twelve years my family has ended our days at the Holiday Inn Express in Bloomsburg. It sits just off the Buckhorn exit on Route 80, perfectly placed for weary travelers who want to be done driving as soon as they see the sign. There are gas stations nearby, a Walmart within a stone's throw, and a scattering of restaurants to keep you fed. There is a mall across the street too, though it is fading away, more ghost than marketplace. This hotel is consistently, remarkably, well-kept. The rooms are spotless and quiet. The pool is clean and welcoming. Despite only coming one night a year, the staff greet us as though we are long-lost cousins finally arriving for the family reunion. Every interaction is pleasant, genuine, and unrushed. Breakfast is exactly what a Holiday Inn Express breakfast should be. You will find pre-made omelettes, bacon, sausage, breads and pastries, cereals, yogurts, fruit, and the famous cinnamon rolls that seem designed to undo whatever restraint you showed at the rest of the buffet. Coffee is available all day, but this year there was a change worth noting. They have replaced the large communal cisterns with sleek Costa coffee machines that grind whole beans and brew each cup fresh. The old coffee was never bad, but now it is actively good. In the lobby there is a small sundries store with snacks, microwave meals, and a modest beer selection featuring Bud, Corona, Miller Genuine Draft, and Yuengling. Handy for the traveler who realizes they would like to end the day with something cold in hand. After a dozen years, this hotel still delivers exactly what I hope for when I book it. Clean rooms, friendly people, a good night's sleep, and a short drive to the park in the morning. It is the best value in the area, hands down.

Stayed here just one night ahead of a weekend at Camp Victory. The Front desk employee was efficient yet friendly, free with information and inviting. Great first impression! We've stayed at this hotel for one night over the thanksgiving break. Unfortunately, our stay at…read morethis hotel ended on an extremely disappointing and upsetting note due to a false accusation of theft, which completely overshadowed any positives of the visit. After checking out, we were contacted by the hotel manager who accused of stealing 3 pillows from the 2 rooms that we booked for our family of 6. The hotel went on and charged us a total of $63 , even after we repeatedly explained that we didn't take anything from the rooms. Needless to say, this allegation was both offensive and humiliating. There was zero proof, zero verification, and zero professionalism shown before the hotel management decided to accuse us of theft. Instead of checking their own housekeeping procedures, inventory records, or internal mistakes, they immediately chose to blame us. That speaks volumes about how poorly this place is managed. Being accused of stealing is not a minor issue. It is a serious allegation, and the fact that the manager felt comfortable making it without evidence shows a shocking lack of judgment and customer respect. At no point did anyone apologize or acknowledge that they could be wrong. The manager and staff tone was accusatory, dismissive, and frankly insulting. Any positives about the stay were instantly erased by this experience. No guest should ever leave a hotel feeling harassed, stressed, or treated like a criminal over something they did not do. If this is how the hotel handles internal errors -- by pointing fingers at guests -- then this is not a place I would ever trust or recommend. Needless to say, we will never return to this property and will actively discourage others from staying here. Until there is a complete overhaul in management practices, staff training, and accountability procedures, this hotel does not deserve the public's trust or business.

Wife and I stayed a Friday to Sunday for parent's weekend to visit our son. Can't say it was…read moreawesome, but it wasn't bad. Because it was parent's weekend and all the local hotels know it, the prices are jacked up. It was an average $150 a night when it usually is a lot less which may have earned the place an extra star. We checked in the early evening which went quite smoothly. Our third floor room was by the elevator and we were told there were three wedding parties in the hotel for the weekend. The place was completely sold out. The hotel was recently renovated and our room was spacious and mostly clean. The tub/shower had some mold which needed some better cleaning standards. The room comes with a cold mini-fridge and microwave along with a hard as a rock couch, nice and firm king mattress (with a topper?), a small coffeemaker, nice large tv, and working air conditioning and heating. The bathroom did not appear to have a steam vent/fan. There was a hairdryer. The shower water pressure absolutely sucked. I even tried to switch it to the better power washer setting and it still sucked. The water at least did get hot quickly. The door to the bathroom and also the room itself were very lightweight making me think cheap and easy to break. We did have an issue with the keycard because it "erased" itself being too near our cell phone resulting in us having to obtain a newly keyed door by the front desk staff. The hotel does offer the "free" breakfast which included three types of cereal, many breads like toast, croissants, and muffins, two waffle makers which is always a hit and they even had cinnamon flavored batter, yogurt, fresh fruit (but both days the bananas were considerably black spotted), bad coffee, hot tea, mixed substandard orange or apple or cranberry juices, and hot sausage patties along with scrambled eggs one day and egg patties the other both of which were probably pre-made. At the main counter, freshly made lemon water was available along with packaged chocolate chip cookies. The staff that we encountered was friendly and helpful. So an average stay at Comfort Suites. It met our needs. They have a pool (small) which we did not use. I don't think there's any workout equipment. I think this would be just as comparable for any hotel chain in the area. We'd stay again but would have a better expectation of what we'd be receiving. The hotel is next to the Lowe's at the top of the hill and had adequate parking.

Somehow online we booked our hotel with Red roof Inn suites on 488 West Third Street, Mifflinville,…read morePa....but when we arrived I met someone named Bernice. She wasn't polite or nice and she rolled her eyes when I asked to use the restroom before I checked in. My family and I drove 4 hours straight before agreeing to start fresh in the morning to drive on vacation. We had booked online with Trivago who assists people to book online. The nice lady took my info and said it was booked. Quote the contrary when we arrived and the call center was closed. Bernice Very Snottily said that there was No reservation booked for us and how we would have all these other Fees and charges. When I mentioned our experience with the third party, she said she wouldn't Accept that. I was exhausted. My mother was exhausted and my husband was just in pain from sitting so long. I needed to get us all into bed. We decided to check with Motel 6, we spoke immediately with a polite young man named Dylan and he helped us out with booking a room and we also got a great rate under AARP! Thank God! We won't stay anywhere else. This was a great experience with Dylan and Motel 6. Thank you, Dylan!

Lets see where do we start. How about at check in shall we. So me and a few of my friends used this…read morehotel while we visited the park about one half hour away. My friend had made the reservation here because he had previously stayed here and got a discount code for that previous stay. Now he did not originally input that there would be three people in that room. So that had to be changed when we checked in. My friend explained that once he saw how that would change the cost, he would let each of us know what we owned him. As I got ready for the evening I noticed the price break down in the room on the door. An extra person cost 3 dollars per night. So I let my friends know that an extra person at 3 dollars a night would be an extra 6 dollars on top of the roughly 60 dollar discounted rate he got. We Will get back to that at the end of our stay. Lets talk about the room shall we. Pros the beds were new and clean. Cons The carpet was beyond stayed with everything from water, to bodily fluids. The sink basically barely drained. The bathroom door would not close right. The bathroom door had a hole in it. The bathroom, which was supposedly cleaned by the way had dirt and body hair in all the corners by the molding. The drawer in the night stand in between the beds had hair in it. There were little type written notes all over the room. One said the phone no longer worked and to either use your cell phone or come to the front desk if you needed anything. Looking back this does not seem safe. What if someones phone did not have signal, or was dead? There was another type written sign that said That some of the outlets and lighting was linked up to a light switch and if they did not work to try turning the switch. The outlets were old and worn out and falling out of the wall. The walkway between the motel and the restaurant was musty with a mold smell. yes I said mold. I would not be surprised if the carpet within the room was molding as well. Now lets get into checkout shall we. When my friend who made the reservation went to check out and was walking back out to the car and looking at his final bill. He noticed the discount code had vanished and the rate charged was the going rate. he went back in and was told that what likely happened was the girl who check us in ( an early 20's 5'1 ish blonde girl in a blue hoodie) had likely simply made it a new reservation rather than edit the existing discounted reservation. The morning lady who checked us out ( An older perhaps 40's or 50's lady with black hair) told him she would leave a note for the manager and that the manager would get back to him. As of this review the manager has not gotten back to him. 30 dollars a night is a massive difference. And since I did not make the reservation perhaps review blasting the motel would garner a response since the "owner response" came from everyone from a nancy to a lilly. When a simple look at the wall when checking in and out would explain that the owner was someone with the last name of either Patel or Pantel. As the certificate of training was on the wall. Did the owner pass the training off to the employee's? It does not seem like it. Hopefully review blasting this review gets a response to my friend. Who booked room 112 started july 10th 2023. You should be able to look it up in your system which looked to be run off of a tablet based square or clover based system.
