Sleeping Room: Comfortable bed. Fresh aroma. Clear instructions as to which of 2 thermostats in the room actually controlled the window A/C. Beautiful drapes. Good TV with cable channels. Small closet with ironing board, coat hangers, iron. Very comfortable bed! The sheets & comforter were such fabrics that they nicely stayed together over tossing sleepers. But: Room entry door makes a bang noise for one person to use while the other is sleeping. Bathroom: Light and bright--wonderful for brushing teeth, blow-drying hair. Perfect powerful hair blow dryer--not the usually mini type found in hotels. But...No occupant control over the humidity from shower -- uses only the HVAC ducting vent. Toilet was only standard height, not the comfort height which more people can use; was told the hotel does not have any comfort-height toilets. Both Room & Bathroom: Bring your own lamp or lighted makeup mirror for enough light to apply makeup. I tried two different types of hand lights that did not help. Unclear services of what service is offered when for making bed, getting clean towels & coffee bar. Breakfast: Cook Paul was very conscientious, constantly busy refilling the foods & drinks & cleaning. On the day this hotel offered bacon, he produced the BEST VERY CRISP BACON ever! Paul had the knack for eyeballing the perfect ratio of old-fashioned oats to water--wonderful healthy oatmeal every day he was there. Bold coffee and 3 flavorings were great! Complimentary coffee during non-breakfast hours. But not one fruit included or to buy separately, so bring your own fruit if desired. With only one machine, we witnessed one guest hogging the machine, making multiple waffles in a row, and another guest needing to plan his time wisely, asked how many waffles she was going to make, and she erupted into a raised, angry voice for all there to hear. . .such "Waffle Rage" suggests needing two waffle machines. Fridge &/or Freezer: It froze items needing only refrigeration. Unclear if it was a fridge or freezer or both. So when bringing your own fruit, be aware it may freeze when put in this "fridge &/or freezer." Management: This property is managed by an extremely conscientious, dedicated manager--was there every day in a row working. Is aware of improvements needed and makes conscious budget decisions to time the improvements. The entire hotel is smoke free! Desk clerks know and practice the best of Southern Hospitality--kudos shout out to Ms. Kenya!!! Lobby: A pleasant living-room-like design, where guests may sit & await others to arrive. During a trip to my home city in both January and July, we stayed at Fairfield Inn & Suites. Both visits were great. We booked with ease through Booking when we stayed at the beginning of the year. Which silly me, that didn't give me any points through my Marriot Bonvoy app. However, it did give me Booking points/perks. Overall weekend was 252.77 not bad at all. During the most recent visit, there were baseball tournaments going on so many of those people had booked the hotel up. We stayed Saturday to Sunday from July 5th through July 6th. That was a stay for about 143 and some change. We also asked about early check in and that was honored for 25 bucks. Easy to call or use the chat within the app. They charged it all to the card on file. Ms. Jennifer at the front desk whom we love is very personable and attentive. She is very helpful and kind. We treated her to some yummy coffee from Tamp & Grind on Sunday morning since she'd never been! Thank you for all of your help and for having a warm spirit. Shoutout to her again because she updated us to a suite! Rooms are nice and overall clean. The one thing that Fairfield doesn't have is a safe. Thought that was strange because this is the second hotel recently with no safe. Unless I overlooked it, I didn't see it. Other staff is nice as well. As far as other amenities they have the gym, pool, breakfast each day with continental items and hot breakfast items. We typically don't make it because...alcohol. But it does exist and it's complimentary. Will always be the hotel of choice when visiting home. Centrally located too. Stay here or don't because we don't want it to be booked up haha read more

WOW. This place is great. I walked in and was stunned by how clean and contemporary it looks. The room was nice, and the air conditioner's noise was sooooo so soft. Mentioning it because another hotel's A/C sounded like construction noise. The bed was comfy and sheets were clean. It was nice that they had plugs on the night stand too. OH MY GOSH. Tell me why I took a food pic of my HOTEL breakfast?? The breakfast bar is basically gourmet. ALSO; they are environmentally conscious. The bathrooms had a little note to replace towels of the ones you leave on the floor- otherwise they will keep the unused ones untouched; "every towel counts". AMAZING. I LOVE THIS PLACE AND CANT BELIEVE THE PRICE FOR THE EXPERIENCE! I recommend this place for sure. read more

My experience here was a mixed bag. On one hand, the room was very nice clean (for the most part), and the pool and other facilities seemed very nice and very well kept. The shower in the room was pretty impressive. The "breakfast", however, was horrifyingly awful. I mean, what's the point if you're not gonna put any effort into it whatsoever? Their fruit offering was either a couple of bananas or a couple of apples. There was no mixture there was no variety. They had a metric ton of oatmeal and stuff for oatmeal so I hope you like oatmeal! They did have a waffle maker and the stuff to go with that. The coffee, the two or three times I tried to get it was either empty or the coffee was cold. They had small little, semi frozen quiches, and those are OK. They have scrambled eggs and a meat item, and those were OK sometimes. I grabbed one of the little cartons of milk to take back to my room. I went to drink it that night and when I pulled it out of the refrigerator, which was cool, it had curdled and had gone bad. There's a picture of me pouring it down the sink and what it look like. Also, I found these small liquor bottles in the bathroom stuffed in the Kleenex box. That was weird. The place was OK, if you don't give a crap about the breakfast. read more

Very clean modern hotel centrally located in a nice restaurant, food, and grocery store area. We booked online and were happy we decided to stay here when we saw the new building and clean lobby interrior. The parking lot was well lit and had ample parking for cars. They provide carts for luggage inside to transport bags from your car to your room. The check in process was a breeze while just providing my ID card and form of payment. The staff was nice greeting me upon entering in and observed quite of few workers cleaning to maintain the cleanliness of the Hotel. Inside the lobby area they have nice couches and tables where you see people on their laptops and computers handling work or surfing the web. They also have business computers to use and a printer if you need to print something out. The room we had was very nice with 2 beds and comfortable blankets and pillows. It has fast wifi to use as well and a small refrigerator and microwave. The shower area was beautiful with great big bathtubs and the flow of water was magnificent! They provided shampoo, conditioner, and lotion to use as well with plenty of towels and washcloths. Having a nice size TV was a plus and I even enjoyed a great pool view from the room. The next morning after a refreshing night sleep we walked into the lobby area where we had complimentary free breakfast and enjoyed some coffee. Outside in the back they have really nice patio furniture to lounge in and chat and mingle with pool views. Overall nice hotel and area to stay in and conveniently located off the freeway to give you that quick head start the next morning to get back in the road. read more

This hotel is terrible, because we found bedbug during ourstay. we checked in the hotel on Nov 23 2022, the room number is 323.we foundmany bedbugs 2 am of Nov 24 during our sleeping. We have reported this issue to the clerk Beeky at the front desk, she suggested us to send an emailto Trace,the manager of the hotel  regarding this issue together with bedbug photos we took in the room and request full refund and compensation on the lost.Morning of Nov 24, I got a phone call from Tracy, she told me the bug I showedher is not bed bug, but lady bug. I can not agree with her, so I contacteda pest control company after I returned to my home city. Whoever owns this hotel needs to sell it and give it to someone who cares about the quality of the guest experience! I travel week in and week out around the entire country and I have not seen a front desk associate so disengaged and who could care less about the experience of guest! I specifically asked for service only to come back to the room after a long day to a dirty room . It only makes me believe that they do not clean this hotel period! As if it wasn't enough when I checked into the hotel yesterday to a room that had no mattress covers for soiled mattresses but I still have it a chance. Only to come back to them leaving towels but not taking the trash out, not taking the dirty towels and not cleaning period! Only for Tracey to say when she didn't say it when I checked it ohhh you're not here long enough and we don't clean everyday! Tracey was rude and dismissive! Guests don't expect a lot but they do expect to be communicated to! Stayed here Dec 9-dec 11th. I did not chose this place the group traveling did. Being that it is a Marriott property I had slightly higher expectations as to the cleanliness of the room. It may be my high expectations but this did not feel like a Marriott property. It was dated , had weird smell and the ac/swamp cooler had tape so couldn't get a comfortable temperature either night. Also had insomnia bc my fear of bed bugs is insane. However; the sweet house keepers deserve more gratitude and human kindness. It was disheartening to hear that most guests don't even say hello or acknowledge their presence. So this may go hand in hand to why rooms aren't completely spotless and I don't blame them. Boost their morale and the rooms might start becoming more clean. As for the lobby staff, there was a gentleman during check in and he was super friendly but the ladies in the morning not so much. Final thoughts, the housekeepers are your true stars, they deserve more recognition and respect read more

This hotel is still only about 2 years old. My room was clean and I felt safe the entire stay. It's located centrally. You have close to restaurants, stores, bars, highways, etc. There is a workout room and lovely outside covered area with a fire pit. I could have sat out there all night while sipping wine. Continental breakfast is included. I liked the oatmeal and the DIY waffles. The rest was standard. The coffee was not strong, but there are plenty of nearby coffee spots. The staff was polite. The parking lot is small and set up "oddly." They don't offer many TV channels, but they do offer HBO. Nice hotel to stay in while visiting Alek. read more

FOOD: Wonderful Breakfast Buffet with everything you could want. Three coffee blends. All coffee sweeteners made. Soy, and milk real cream. Self-serve waffle maker (could use two, had waiting lines). Pre-made oatmeal or packets, with . Three types of eggs--boiled, fried, and scrambled. Excellent hash potatoes. Nine breads/muffins. Labels need improvement. Eggs were mis-labeled "Cheese Omelet". The next day the same two different dishes were labeled opposite names. Both turkey sausage and pork sausage. Both tasted ok, but BEWARE -- need to confirm if needed for health reasons: their labels were reversed from one morning to the next; mysteriously no grease in either sausage pan. RESERVATIONS: When checking in, took too long -- they had to scramble to find all the rooms we reserved--ended up with the party on three separate floors, barely. ARCHITECTURE: Best shower configuration ever--tiled up to the ceiling, bright white easy to see, floor-to-ceiling glass wall on half the shower front wall. Room was very quiet -- good noise mitigation in walls. No good mirror with bright light. SECURITY/SUPERVISION: Swimming pool was too small for the number of guests or guests of Fairfield guests. Allowing food around the pool--spilled ice cream dropped by unsupervised kids was accident waiting to happen. EMPLOYEES: So friendly! read more

Rooms dirty bathroom not clean stains on pillows it was gross I will not recommend this place it nasty and I hate it do not come

So the hotel looks nice and has a lot of potential. From looking at other reviews it looks like it used to be better. I liked the wallpaper and large desk in our room. I thought the layout was very efficient and well visioned. I also thought the welcome on the TV was a nice touch. But let's get to the issues and why it has a low rating from me. They don't clean or maintain the rooms.  There were hairs all over the place.  In the bed, on the pillows, in the shower, in the sink, and on every towel. At first I thought maybe it was the custodial staff. But they were different colors, thickness, length, and types (my husband taught forensicsciences and said the same thing). Personally it's gross trying to dry yourself with a towel to have someone else's hairs all over it. It also is very frustrating trying to shower with half empty bottles of product. Even harder when the shower floor has huge spots missing and cracked up and then peices of the floor peel up more and stick to your feet and continue to crack and peel, sticking even after the shower. Even the pillows had stains and marks. Some of the corners still have dirt, one had a peice of left over trash plastic.  Kinda reminds me of when kids clean open spaces and ignore corners, furniture, etc. Also make sure you make any pillow requests in advance, apparently when the cleaning manager leaves all of the pillows are locked away so no one else can get to them. We were lucky and barely got here in time to get ours changed due to my feather allergies. Maybe this was an off day, but being real, this is not a hotel I would recommend to other travelers, especially in times where cleanliness and maintainence are so important. If you come here, bring cleaning supplies. I literally felt cleaner when I was camping the next day. read more

There's also free breakfast, gym, and a swimming pool, and free parking. The beds are clean and comfy, and I had no trouble going to sleep. As a loyal Marriott customer and rewards member, I can 100% say this is the worst Marriott and probably the worst hotel I have ever stayed at! The manager at the hotel does not care about the safety or comfort of her guests and is completely not available to help her guests. We arrived on a Saturday and there were no clean towels for the room or the pool and the poor lady at the front desk was running crazy trying to handle the many complaints from guests. Our toilet in our room was broken and at the pool, several guests shared that their toilets did not work properly either. The very nice lady at the front desk called maintenance and the general manager to try and get permission to move us a room with a working toilet and she refused to call back. After calling the 1-800 number the only solution offered was to walk downstairs and use the restroom in the lobby all night. I have made numerous requests for the GM to call and she refuses . The next morning we got up and checked early to get out of this awful hotel and tried to get coffee but the "breakfast" did not even have food to make any type of breakfast or creamer for the coffee. All of the guests were complaining and the employees did not seem to care. If you expect a clean room. clean bed, working toilet and shower along with towels to dry off with, this is not the hotel for you!!! Obviously this is to much to ask for at the Fairfield Inn and Suites nd the customer service is just AWFUL!!! read more

This is a beautiful property. It's brand new and so NICE. From the inviting lobby and desk agents, to the clean common area, beautiful patio and pool area to the super nice modern rooms It's quiet and restful. I LOVE this Marriott property. Close to shopping & restaurants its perfect for business or pleasure. It has a well stocked Market for those late night munchies or beverages and a delicious breakfast from 6 - 9 AM. I was a very late arrival with no reservation and the front desk lady was extremely sweet. She was extremely helpful. Our rooms were beautiful and most of all very very clean. Showers are huge, and really hot water. Unfortunately it was to cold to use the outdoor pool but it was absolutely beautiful. Oh and breakfast.. plenty of food to chose from and it was all delicious. My sister and I haven't had great luck finding a clean place to stay in Alex when we come to visit our grandmother. We finally found a hotel that was clean and nice in the Fairfield! Nadia was the afternoon/night manager who checked us in. She was so kind and nice! The room was clean and was the perfect size. The second night, there was a humongous group of children running and screaming by the fire pit that our room overlooked after 10:00. I called down to the front desk and within 10 minutes they had stopped. This was not the hotel's fault, and I do appreciate that they handled the situation. We only ate breakfast there the first day and it was impressive! Chobani yogurt, waffles, bagels, pastries, apples, bananas, oatmeal with toppings, and juices! I'll stay here again! read more

I did not even check into the Hotel. As soon as I walked up to desk, a very short hair blond on top with dark underneath, Kinda butch looking hair style, was very rude.
