New to us brewery and what a great find! It's pretty spacious, large bar with lots of seating options. I believe there was even a cornhole competition happening in a large room next to the main bar area. They have a diverse menu of beers and while there was a food truck, we didn't get a chance to try it by the time they left at 8pm. They are very family and dog friendly, both allowed inside and not just out on the patio - haha I opted for a flight which is something I love to do when trying a new brewery, so I can try a multitude of their beers at once. All of them were great! I'm not certain if it is entirely women owned/operated, but it was that night and I loved it!

Great birthday celebration at the craft beer and dessert pairing event! They even sang me happy birthday! Loved it! Delicious beer and desserts, personable hosts, great venue. Will come again and looking forward to next one. Really enjoyed the event and atmosphere.

(the end of) Saison and barely wine. Stopped in after passing daily. Dog friendly, diverse menu, and on site good truck!

Stopped in after passing daily. Dog friendly, diverse menu, and on site food truck! Staff was informative and nice to talk to, the atmosphere is relaxed. Kids, babies, pets, families, a nice brewery for everyone. Also, a few TVs with March Madness playing

Solid tucked away local spot. Plenty of high top seating and some outdoor space and a big garage style door that is open for nice weather. Big pro is dog friendly, also family friendly. Good range of beers on top and some were sold out so you know they're fresh and have locals come They have TVs for sports games, rotating food trucks, and scheduled entertainment from music to trivia and even comedy Overall really enjoyed our time. Very laid back and friendly, don't expect anything over the top but do expect friendly banter from nearby tables

I stopped in the other day for a beer with friends. It is a lovely open space with great beer. I had the Howling Gale IPA and found it smooth and delicious. Service was quick and helpful and La Raza food truck made some nice tacos al pastor to go with the beer. It is a little off the beaten path but worth the trip!

Pretty cool place with indoor and outdoor seating. Usually has a food truck. Been here a couple times. They don't have a huge parking lot but there is some street parking. Decent amount of beers on tap. No flights but you can get 5 oz pours. We came here on a Sunday and I do like it here because it is dog friendly inside and out. Order at the bar and sit wherever. They had food serving inside this time and the food was delicious. I often get the High Barbary Amber Lager and my boyfriend got the LortonKenny Light Lager. I love the Amber Lager. It's flavorful, balanced and crisp. The light Lager was easy to drink and also a great light beer. We tried the Barrel Aged Ghost of the Mariner as well. That was really good and had a great espresso flavor. Beer and atmosphere are great but sometimes the bartenders aren't very friendly.

It's a low-key bare bones operation that just happens to make really good beer. I am also a fan of their support for veterans.

This place is my favorite in Northern Virginia. Any of their hoppy beers are great and the saison and dark beers are great too.

This place fills up quickly for it so if you're coming for a casual drink, plan accordingly. The setup is a little non traditional, you get a card and pour yourself and they charge you by the oz. Perfect for those who want to experiment or don't know what to get. Loved their IPA selection but wish they had some more stouts or porters. But the real star? The wings. They give you a huge portion and the quality of the wings were perfection along with the sauce. I haven't had wings that good in a long time!

I would suggest that you ask for extra sour cream. The buffalo boneless wings were good and I loved that they came with a skewer so you don't get messy. Very date friendly appetizer. The tenders were cool, just nothing special. Fries were good but the honey mustard was watery. The burgers were mid. Just a regular burger with no seasoning. The spinach dip was edible but not seasoned. I've had better spinach dip from the grocery store. The ambiance is the same as your typical bar, loud, fast paced, with many tvs. Overall I regret ordering the burgers and spinach dip but I loved everything else and I'll definitely be back! 8 appetizers and 2 drinks only came up to $80!

We also tried the crab cake sandwich and French onion soup (also yummy). The ambiance is wonderful with French music playing and a darling patio. Deliciousness - 4/5 Happiness - 5/5…read more I love Belgian beer, and Cock and Bowl is my favorite place to nab some of this great nectar. This place keeps the Belgian brews stocked across the spectrum. From fruity Lambics to Tripels (my personal fave) and Quadrupels, pales to darks. There's a lot to explore here. The food is pretty good too. The frites (fries) are excellent and pair well with the beer. They are thick without veering into steak fry territory, nicely crunchy, and packed with a pleasing amount of salt (and I believe a hint of vinegar). The waffles are also a standout, typically topped with light and airy cream. The merguez lamb sausage is also hearty and delicious. I wish the building itself was larger. There's only a few tables, meaning you may be in for a wait if you go during the colder months. And I recently had the chocolate mousse and didn't care for it. It was much more akin to pudding, and there wasn't a deep enough chocolate flavor to contrast with the whipped cream. There's no better place I've found in Occoquan to eat, drink, and be merry. I highly recommend you stop here when you visit.

I called earlier to ensure that I could cover the tab for a group that volunteered to assist in a cleanup that morning in the Town of Occoquan. I had to stop at another meeting down the road and rushed back and forth. The restaurant Manager, Heather, was very pleasant and kept me informed in order for me to be there before they left. Heather brought Kenny to meet me at the door as our table server. He was very courteous and terrific at providing a top tier service that I always receive here and expect wherever I spend my money when patronizing a business. I have always received great service from everyone here at all times and shifts of the day. The food has always been on par as well. I believe the crux of being here may be the veil of dismalness and lack of TLC. You can smell it and it isn't the poo in the river. When observing the restrooms, trash dumpster and overall condition of the dining room/bar areas, improvements can be made and escalate the business in more ways than they can imagine. To make money (for the owners and employees) you need to spend money. Menu is good and solid, keep the selection and quality. The drinks are more at the Tiki Bar than inside. The staff are terrific, keep the ones that enjoy being there and have the best ones like Kenny, Mike, Heather, and Lenny lead and manage staff and service. Someone independent needs to manage inventory. Money is being drained by too many freebies from the staff and could be used towards a decent toilet to sit on and stall doors to lock. There are great events that take place here like live bands, solo musicians, line dancing, karaoke and others. Bottom line, this restaurant should not have an empty seat and I look forward to more improvements and happy experiences here. +- parking ( handicap available) + service + food presentation/quality/flavor - restaurant and exterior condition

That said things are tough these days and it's hard to justify eating out and paying more for meals and drinks. We purchase gift cards at Costco ($100 worth for $80) and combine that with the weekly specials they have traditionally offered. In short, we made it affordable enough to justify going on a tight budget. The Good The staff are great (John at the bar has been there for 20+ years), the food is good and the prices have usually been reasonable. We are big fans of the wings at Glory Days and the $6.99 for 6 after 9 PM made this our GoTo appetizer. I've had many meals at the Burke location after working late nights or after working out the gym and I've enjoyed the consistency and devotion the staff put into the experience. Sheldon often has my beer ready by the time I get a seat at the bar. Glory Days is a sponsor for some of the local public baseball fields and a big draw for teams at the many local schools. Add to all of this a good location, TONS of SCREENS and a real sense of neighborhood commitment and you can see why customers show so much loyalty. The NOT so Good Recently the policies and the menus have been changing. Prices have gone up, discounts have gone down or been completely eliminated and some items are no longer offered. I've heard that this is partially due to a change in ownership, apparently the new management team wants to go after more money and expect customers to just absorb the cost. I guess they took a page from Amazon's "Screw over the Prime members" playbook. Reasonable prices and policies have been replaced with higher prices and less options. Don't care for fries? You'll pay an upcharge to swap them out for broccoli or rice. Goodbye $6.99 wings and hello $11.99 for the same 6 bone-in wings. No more half price burgers on Monday, Taco Tuesdays and etc. Instead they have a "Trifecta" and the "Merica Burger". Needless to say I'm not impressed. Moving On These changes have prompted my wife and I to explore local alternatives despite our loyalty to the staff at the Burke location. We still hold a few gift cards and we'll be back to use them but we're not buying any more and we're checking out other restaurants. Tonight, it is Oh George! over by GMU. Time will tell if Glory Days returns to it's former Glory or goes down the profit driven death spiral.

This was part of our 2nd to last date, but if I had been smart the last date with her should've happened in February after our 2nd date. But on a positive was going to Glory Days, which I was familiar with in Alexandria (which sadly closed in May 2025), between Bailey's Crossroads & Annandale, near BWI, & a couple of others I had been. She was a teacher, and she had gotten a $10 off at Glory Days for some thank you. She told me we would use the $10 off, and told me that I would pay for our meals. I got the wings, which were delicious as always. Service was good at this location. Afterward, we went to a Farm near Herndon, which was pretty cool, but it rained heavily at the end. The best part of that day was getting a movie in at AMC Georgetown DC (even though parking is pain there) on my way home to MD.
