I went to get a trim a couple of days ago. I waited my turn and was called to the chair. The barber…read moreasked me how I wanted it cut. My hair was a bit longer than my normal style and I had spent many years in the Army so didn't want a really short hair cut, just trim it down a little. When he finished and handed me the mirror to see how my haircut looked, I was shocked, it was closer to a butch than a trim! I wanted to say "can you put about half the hair back on"?. But I didn't, I just paid him and walked out, needless to say I won't be going back there. If you want a really short haircut, I guess this is the place to go, but if just a trim, you better look elsewhere.

I showed up unannounced, and was greeted by 2-3 people which was nice. A guy (forgot his name) put my info in the computer since it was my first time there and a couple mins later I was seated. Super friendly dude, not overly talkative which was nice, cause I'm not either. My hairs a little complicated, uneven, corse bla bla bla. He cut it great and checked with me after every step. Atmosphere was nice. Cool decor, background music to ignore, comfy chairs etc. price for the hair cut was $17 and tipped $8. So not bad at all. Will definitely come back. Only thing I will say is that if you don't know this place and navigate it off yelp, it will basically take you to the mall entrance to Buffalo Wild Wings, it's actually behind the restaurant.

Some have complained about the app, but I like it. You can see who is working and request someone you prefer or just go for the first available. It will tell you approximately how long the wait is. It is not an appointment time - they don't do appointments. Because of variables in people arriving or length of time to do certain cuts, (the app plugs in an average time for each haircut) the estimated wait is just that. There may be a wait when you arrive, but WAY shorter wait than if you were to just walk in, like back in the day. The app gives you an estimated time you should arrive and will remind you about 30 minutes ahead. When I lived in Ohio, I went to a place that took appointments, which was great, but sometimes you still had to wait anyway and the haircuts were double the price!! I think Sports Clips has the right system.
