What a great little Barber shop in the middle of downtown Milton. I admit that I am very fussy about my haircut but Tony and his son Charley are great at what they do. You get the flavor of a small town shop with the chit chat within the shop and people outside the shop stopping to wave or opening the main door to stop by and say hello. Something like Floyd's Barber shop on the Andy of Mayberry show except with 2008 pricing ..... if $12 for a haircut is a 2008 price. If you can't find free parking on the street, park in the lot located south of main street, it is huge and is free as well ..... come back over to Main Street by taking the walkway beside the Milton Bible Church building.

Had a terrible experience, most definitely not going back…read more It was filthy, super hot (like 30 degrees), smelled like cigarettes, and one of the employees was watching videos on her phone at a volume that should only be legal for use at EDM shows on cruise ships in international waters. I could have lived with the environment if the guy hadn't butchered my hair, but he did. He completely disregarded my instructions on how to transition from the side of my head to the top. No blending or anything, just abruptly from a #2 (I asked for #3) to like 2.5" of length... And for some reason on one side of my head, he buzzed diagonally (picture uploaded). I told him not to touch my hairline because often barbers try to push it back on the sides of my head - he went ahead and did it anyway, and didn't even line it up properly. It looks like he was falling down while he did it (picture uploaded). He also made my one sideburn about 5mm wide, leaving the other one about 4x as wide. I asked him to shave a THIN line where I part my hair, he basically shaved a racing stripe down the side of my head. When I got home I noticed that at the back of my head the line gets wider and actually splits into two lines (pictures uploaded). I went to this place because they had solid reviews on FB and google reviews. After I realized that most of these are from people who brought their kids in to get team logos shaved into their head.

He also screwed up my beard and pushed all my lines down even though I told him not to push it down. Painful and awful experience would never recommend this place to anyone ever.

What a nice change from the typical cookie cutter chains. After a friendly greeting I was asked many questions about what I wanted and even was shown an online pic to see if it was close. Twenty minutes later with great conversation and an even better haircut I am totally satisfied and highly recommend King Style. If I need a haircut on my next visit I will be returning.
