On a recent trip I picked up some David Sedaris and Stephen Clarke, found some English-language travel guides that I hadn't seen at the British Bookstore, and was sorely tempted to buy even more books but realized they wouldn't fit in my luggage for the trip back home.

The store is pretty large - two stories - with a surprisingly large English language section upstairs. The service was friendly, and we both quickly found some books to read over the week we were in Austria. I also appreciated that that they had seating where you could read a few pages of a book to decide whether to buy! Overall, a nice bookstore in the heart of Vienna.

The facade makes me feel like you'd need to hide a copy of Marx in your pocket. Mostly everyone around you will be rushing to Demel next door, but a visit here is much more exciting.
