We had called and scheduled to have facials and massages, we could not get massages at the same time so we decided to have facials done as well. After getting attitude from the owner of the salon, I decided since I didn't get the facial to get into the pod which was the best thing there! After I got out of the pod, I got my "facial" since there was time and it was not at all relaxing. The esthetician was obviously in a hurry, nor did she ask me about my skin, and what I may or may not be more sensitive to. The hand and foot massage I got from her was a joke. She was more concerned with getting us out the door and selling us on her products than her customers. I've had plenty of facials and this was not worth the money. After we had left we were very disappointed. The best service we got was from the front desk receptionist who was pleasant. The other thing I might add was when I had looked at my credit card bill I noticed that I was charged $197.00, when the facial was $95 and pod was $38 + $15 for oxygen so when I called to get clarification on my bill, once again got nothing but VERY poor service, was told that I had an attitude the minute I walked in the door. I'm shocked as a customer I was spoken to like that, when I had every right to be upset that we made an appointment only for it to supposedly "be a mis-understanding on my part". I will not go back to this spa again, there are plenty of other spas in Ruidoso that I could have used and will use in the future.
