I loved the way the shop was organized. There were clothes for the whole family from adults to children. The place was packed with clothing at every angle and from top to bottom. I really liked some of the fabrics, they were so soft. I was offered help as soon as I walked in the door, so service was good. The prices were excellent. Some of the cute tops were only $25. Did you think that service was only available to those who star in the Hills? I've always walked by Bachrach thinking it was a store for old people who needed to wear suits all the time. Boy was I mistaken. Fellow Yelper Joel J. recommended this place and I was in the market for a few new suits. As I walk in, I was greeted politely by Juliet. I told her my situation and that it's been years since I bought my last suit and I was in the need for something versatile yet stylish. She came out with 3-4 suits and helped me try on a few. She explained the nuances of shoulder spacing, necessary suit length, and how people ask her all the time for a "tight fit," but how that will only shorten the lifespan of the suit. Normally, I'm a person who walks into a clothing store, try on a few items and rush out of the store in a matter of minutes. Spending about an hour here (which would normally seem like forever to me), I purchase two new suits, very satisfied (This almost sounds like a Men's Warehouse commercial). This 44R will definitely be coming back here for all my future formal wear.

I've only seen the area from the highways that are tree lined. I am quite amazed by how out of touch I was for this area. This mall is quite expansive. The one thing I love about the DMV area is that the malls are still thriving. Not to the point where every single store is filled, but no where near dead mall territory. I had some time to kill before I had to head back home and wanting to pick up some items. Parking here had me. I wasn't sure where would be the best place to park. I ended up in the outdoor lots and didn't even want to mess with the parking structure. As a note, early here means you will encounter a slew of parents with their children in tow. Be careful and mindful in the parking lot as they will be everywhere. The mall had a bit of everything in here. The typical anchors and national chains you would expect to find in a mall. Food court area was jammed with eateries and customers. I opted to not eat here. Would definitely come back. Especially on a lazy day. Good people watching, enough stores to grab whatever you might be thinking of getting, and ample parking.

I saw a new Thai takeaway place downstairs near where Claire's used to be. The selections of the store keeps evolving. I had no idea Lululemon moved and has a bigger store now. It's hard to believe that the malls in America are dying when you see how crazy busy it is at the Mall. I couldn't find parking until I parked closer to the old Sears lot. And that was during a weekday well after Christmas and New Year's too. My nickname at work used to be the Mall Rat Haha! I can't wait to discover what new stores are coming and going the next time I return.

Rarely leaving our home, the hubby and I did, armed with a gift card and the intent to use it to…read morehelp purchase UA Sportmasks. My husband did extensive research and although the color variation he wanted (charcoal / black with the logo in dark), was unavailable, he was excited to have the comfort offered in the masks. Before we left for the mall, I spoke with UA team member, Dan, on the phone to confirm the colors they had in stock. I was very grateful as Dan spent a lot of time confirming the colors available in the sizes we needed, why we couldn't use the gift card online (issue with the card), and how we could check with other stores to check their stocked inventory. It seemed that the stores aren't able to get too many color variations of the mask due to supply and demand. The store is fairly large, and we wanted to be in and out, so we thankfully crossed paths with team member, Christine. Christine was exceptionally helpful as she spoke with us about the mask and even reconfirmed our measurements for them. She used a disposable paper measuring tape and had us hold the tape from the bridge of the nose to the ears (the UA website also offered guidance on how to measure for a proper mask fit, which is what we had initially used). Then, after confirming we didn't need to make any other purchases, we were guided to a quick checkout station. Thanks to Christine, we were indeed in and out of the store in mere minutes! We ended up getting masks in the charcoal / black with the chrome logo, under the current promotion of 2/$40. UA is also honoring a great promotion for First Responders and Military Personnel (Healthcare and Educational staff included) for 20% off of their purchases (an increase from the regular 10% discount). Not only was the staff helpful, but the store was clean, well organized, and I appreciated the pandemic precautions taken with offering hand sanitizer right at the entrance of the store and at the checkout counter, as well. Underarmour obviously know how popular this scent is and does not wish to capitalize on sellable product. The Rock has said it many times before...:Know Your Damn Roll." The part about shutting your mouth...well that is all I will say on the matter. Mouth closed. Speaking of The Rock, I saw several new shirts of his, and was very, very tempted to buy one. It has the Brahma Bull picture I like and the material feel as well. $60 bucks...well 63.60 after tax on Maryland...let's just call it 64 and be done with it. I will give it some thought. I two weeks time, if it is till there, I will buy that bad boy. The Rock's other merchandise was okay, but they didn't have the look I liked except for the shorts. I do not know the style name, but they were the wrong size. If I should see them again, I might try them on and possibly by them too. Aside from that, I did not see anything else appealing.

I love the way they have outfits all put together including the shoes and purses. Service was great. A salesperson greeted me and asked if there was anything she could do to help. I thought that was very nice. I think that a lot of the clothing is styled for the working women. There were beautiful outfits in a rainbow of lovely colors. The price point was fair for a boutique style clothing store. It was priced like a Nordstrom's equivalent. But, you add the already designed outfits and the excellent service. I would be willing to pay for the convenience and quality. Be sure to check them out.
