Fresh cake inside Cannoli ricotta-- good filling, fresh cookie Paste orange and pistachio A half moon pastry -- interesting! The dough is not sweet and barely cooked. Tastes like pie dough. The filling is ground pistachio with some flavoring we couldn't pinpoint. Enjoyable and not too sweet A round Roche type cookie with pistachio-- tastes like peanut butter covered in frosting Paste with orange and one with pistachio The first visit the lady was so helpful even though our limited Italian and her limited English She convinced us to buy 4 cookies but charged for only 2 ( you get a free cookie on your visit) When we came back for cannolli she greeted us warmly Nice cafe atmosphere with tables inside and out This time we sat with a cannoli and the sciatore . They brought ( free) water without us asking They are OPEN all day.

My small gelato (cookies and stracciatella) was a nice way to beat the 90-degree heat in Catania. Price was fair. My only regret is not buying any of their fancy chocolates!
