I've been coming here for the membership since they opened a store front. I want to say it's been at least 4-5 years. Their service has gone down significantly. There used to be a tall girl who was exceptional but moved away for school. There has been a time where they ripped off the entire end of my right eyebrow that I had to grow out and several other times where the job looked incomplete. I still went back. Most recently, I went in for an upper lip and eyebrow threading and was out of there in 3 minutes max. I walked over to Sephora to look in the mirror and saw tons of hairs in places where it usually isn't after a good thread job. I had it. I decided to cancel my membership. The online policy states to cancel within 5 days before your next change date. My next charge date is the 20th- I attempted to cancel on the 15th. Another stocky woman intervened and said it's 10 days and then later changed it to 20 days. I'm thinking "Wait what? No where does it say 10-20 days." She refers me over to a 510 area code corporate number. I call the number outside of the store and the Sammy on the other line confirmed that I can indeed, cancel that day with no issues. She tells me to re-enter the store to let the woman speak to her on my cell phone. After some back and forth, they give me a cancellation form. I don't understand how they can just make up rules. They are unprofessional, lack customer service, talk while theyre threading so they spit all over your face and super rude. It is unfortunate but I will now be on the look out for a better eyebrow place. read more

This place is great. I've been here a few times over maybe 6-8 years. I don't agree with the low rating they have on Yelp. I'm not a regular by any means--they don't know me and I don't know them. I'd say I go once or twice every year or two--usually before an important engagement like a wedding. Everytime, for me & whoever accompanied me, it was always quick & always on point! 5 stars for speed & price. I've been to the other threading place in the same mall. Even though that one is slightly cheaper, they did a less than satisfactory job (eyebrows were threaded way to thin). I will continue to go to Eyebrow Plus because I trust their work. read more

Solid eyebrow place that always works out for me when I have chance to actually do grooming. Definitely stop by and know what you want and be able to communicate. These ladies will take care of you. Please be aware that they are working super hard and yes, you have to hold your skin and do other things so that they can get your eyerbows shaped properly. This place is a joke. If you have five stars and you earned a "free service" it's not likely that it will indeed be free. The woman told me that it was only for members and that if I signed up I would get my first free. That doesn't make sense because I would then become a member. Anyway. Don't go here. It's overpriced. The ladies talk while threading. And they could care less how they look after threading you. If you are in this mall go downstairs by Daiso and go to Hollywood threading. Today was the final straw. Whoever worked on Saturday, Sept 14th at 12 pm pulled the thread so hard on my skin, I had red lines on my upper lip when she was done. She obviously knew how rough she was working when the thread broke. The skin under the eyebrow is delicate and she was still going at it with the same intensity. Even an hour later, there are red marks on top of my Cupid's bow because of how rough she was. I keep coming back because of convenience and my brows grow fairly quick so I just get a clean up every 2 weeks. Some of the girls are gentle and seem like they care. My brows don't come out perfect every time but it's alright for just a clean up. But today was seriously the final straw when that girl worked on me. She was unnecessarily passive aggressive. Even if you had a bad day, don't take it out on the customer. When my punchcard is done this time, I'm definitely not getting any more no matter how many "specials they have for that day only". I'd rather learn how to thread myself. read more

Had good experience at Eyebrow Plus with Shanti. I went to the mall for shopping and saw this salon. My eyebrows really needed shape but i was skeptical in the beginning to try new place but i went in anyways. I am glad i went there, my eyebrows look really good and satisfying. Got an e-mail saying non members get a 25% discount off of one service on Labor Day weekend. Walked in, told her I got the e-mail, got my services and she ran my card without discount even if I asked her right before she ran it if it includes discount. Then she went on to say there was no offer and I showed her the email. She basically said, "Too late, I ran your card." She even said, "It would've just been a $3 discount anyway." Seriously?! Don't offer a service, esp via e-mail, if you do not intend to honor it. Never going back here again. read more

The girls are beginners and cut you skin. They do not wash their hands between each customers, or possible if even after handling cash. I broke out with pimples after going there and will NEVER go back. They are overpriced and the memebership they try to con you in after is only used between Mon-Thursday ... WTF?!?!?! What's the point if you can't use on the days that you are off?!?!?! I recommend going to Jun's salon on 7th ave ... girl knows what she is doing. Call for appointment. read more

I went in for a demo, not a threading. I wish I could write a more positive review about my experience yesterday. I'll be brief: 1. She DIDN'T SANITIZE HER HANDS! 2. She started shaping my brows although she was only supposed to demo by removing some hair near my sideburns. 3. She didn't ask me anything about what shape I wanted before she started doing the shaping I never wanted. 4. She had the other end of the thread in her mouth. I know that is common practice, but I think it is an unsanitary practice... and I think she may have drooled in my hair. 5. I told her to stop, but she said, "Oh, we can just do it now." I got out of the chair. 6. The next woman arrived, and she began threading her WITHOUT SANITIZING HER HANDS BETWEEN CLIENTS. I can't recommend them at all. read more

We all know getting our eyebrows or lips threaded/waxed is not a trip to relaxation land. So I don't know what all the complain is all about. I have sensitive skin and I've never had a breakout from threading. I got the membership, I get in, get threaded and get out. I usually google a place and check the reviews.. this time I was in a hurry and I came to eyebrow plus bcuz it was nearby. When I read the reviews I got really scared bcuz all i could find is how bad it is and how inefficient they are. I had facial threading including the eyebrows. I am really satisfied with the service. The lady -i wish I could remember her name- was really nice. I'd definitely recommend this place. I've had my eyebrows done once before in my enitre life. I usually pluck them myself, having no clue what I'm doing. 9 out of the 10 times I walk around with uneven eyebrows. I just broke up with my boyfriend, so I thought it was the perfect time to take care of myself and have my eyebrows done. As I live right next to SFSU, I thought I'd look for a place in Stonestown, and found this place where they use thread. I've never seen this before, so I thought why not give it a try. Girls, it's great, is does not hurt. Ok, of course, it will always hurt if you pull out hairs (no matter what!), but this is seriously the least painfull and fast method I've ever seen. For only $15 and 5 minutes of your time you walk away with perfect designed eyebrows. Why not 5 stars? As I was sitting in the chair, a group of Japanese tourist passed by and started filming me!!! The people: Way too pushy on the 3 month pass. They don't seem genuine and are awful salespeople. I have to decline them up to 5 times before they get that I don't want the 3 month pass that has gone up $50 in price. Ridiculous. The price: Way too expensive. I've been getting threaded for about 7 years now and the general full face threading is $30. Theirs used to be $35 but overnight when to $40 which is more expensive than a threading job you'll get in Palo Alto. Their 3 month pass was $99 and went up to $150?! Their work: Spotty. I work in the mall so if you can tell already, they're not my place of choice but I go to for convenience. The work they do is alright but as I write this I have a half done face. It is really hit or miss at this place. I've been coming here on and off since 2014. The wait is usually short. I guess this place is not as popular as when it first opened. Sometimes you get one that does a quick brow threading and sometimes you get one that put time/effort in brow threading. So it really depends on who you get. I've been coming here for 4-5 years. I have a three month eyebrow & lip membership and it's worth every penny. I come in about once a week, for the most part the service is fast. When the wait is extremely long I jot my name down on the list and I go shop around. I have my two go to girls that always take care of me Henna & I forget my other girls name but she's the one with the 8 month old baby. Love you girls! No complaints, just great service. For the people who complain that getting your hair threaded hurts, well duh!! Go get laser hair removal if you can't take the pain. I'm just saying! I've been going here for 3 years since they had their kiosk in the food court. I've always been happy and renewed my membership each time. But within the last 3 months my wait has been 30-1 1/2 hours, sometimes ill walk around the mall and other times I just leave because I don't have the time. It's ridiculous they need more people working here, it's bad business to have 7+ women waiting and only one person working on a Saturday morning! It makes no damn sense. The owner is being cheap and does not schedule based on the stores needs. Every time I come here even during peak hours like Saturday mornings or Friday nights there is never more than 2 girls working at a time. I am sitting here right now and have been here for 40 min. There are still two girls ahead of me. Definently not renewing my membership next time! Why should I waste my money on a place that I have to waste a whole hour just waiting? It's not worth it i would rather spend extra money on the convenience of not wasting my day. By the way they have cut my eye multiple times as well... I received a text msg from Eyebrow Plus saying that for my birthday, they were giving me free eyebrow threading. I followed all directions given in the text msg to redeem my free eyebrow threading session. When I got to Eyebrow Plus, the lady said the offer is only for current members. (I didn't renew my expired 2-month membership). Because I needed my eyebrows done and was pressed for time, I didn't bother to argue. I paid $15 for what I would normally pay only $9 for where I live (Sacramento area). What upsets me is that there is no mention in the text msg about the offer being good only if you are a current member. Never again! I will definitely be telling my family and friends in San Francisco to avoid this place. And it's not as if they do a great job either. That's why I never bothered to renew my membership. Eyebrow Plus is the first place I've ever tried eyebrow and lip threading. I'd have to admit, the first time they threaded my brows, I really liked it because they did a really clean job. However, after buying a membership and threading my eyebrows every week, I've noticed that they dont do an awesome job on my brows as they used to anymore. Privacy at the Kiosk is not very great also. I felt like my privacy was invaded when people walking by just stopped in front of me and watched me thread my eyebrows.. What really disappointed me was that... one day, when I was on my way to thread my eyebrows, I couldn't find the kiosk anymore! I looked at both locations.. The kiosk disappeared! I was mad that Eyebrow plus did not even try to contact me and tell me that they will be closing down. I had to drive all the way down to their Tanforan location just to do my eyebrows.Turns out they just recently opened up a store near the Nordstrom's part of the mall.. I wont be going back though.. sorry. The customer service here is alright, not too good, not too bad. I just didn't like the fact that they'd always pushed you into getting a membership or renewing your membership along with suggesting to thread other parts of your face. Even when they're threading my face, they'd ask other customer's if they'd like to try eyebrow threading. The price is here is .... I don't know why this place gets bad reviews. Every time I have my eyebrows done here people compliment me, say my brows are "on fleek" :) The price is great for any package you decide to get. The 1 year membership I got is good for 2 months and 1 year, until Jan 2017! And it says right on the contract that cancellations needs to be in writing...read the fine print if you have a problem with that. Plus when I got my 3 month membership it expired exactly after 3 months with no issues at all. They always listen to what I ask for, I only get my brows done with a nice semi sharp arch. They communicate well with their customers and are always quick and hospitable. If you think that they service is skimpy...then ask for more off! Plus it is threading - there is only so much that threading can do, if you don't like it try to go to a place that does waxing. I like this place a lot. Do not buy a membership here! You may think that you are getting a great deal and you probably are, until the owner decides to offer you an even better deal (4 months for the price of 3), and then closes the store a week later. That is what happened to me in Sacramento. I have called and emailed several times, and have not received any reply. This establishment definitely stole my money and I will never, ever do business with them again. I really like this place. I much prefer threading over waxing. This little place has grown in popularity. As a result, I think yje ladies working here feel pressured to rush through the clients who may at tome have to wait as much as 45 minutes. Typically they have 2 folks working here at any given time. There are 5 work stations, I wish they had more people working here at any given time. The wait time would be less and the joroughness of the threading whole be much better. Honestly, like most of the reviews, the outcome of the results may truly vary if you get your eyebrows done here. A beautician is appointed to you on a first come first serve basis so it's truly a surprise on what kind of result one might get! The actual threading does hurt but if one is accustomed to the threading rituals than this is cake! My own experience at Eyebrow Plus has been on the fence. They get the job done, but at what cost?Seriously, at what cost? The customer service, or lack of it, is what turns me off. They kind of told me what to do instead of politely asking me and they didn't shape my eyebrows correctly, which is a huge faux pas in the beauty world. I unfortunately bought the membership so I will have to continue seeing these "social" creatures but I will know in the future to tell them what I want and make sure I get it. read more

I really like Eyebrow Plus. Glad they finally got a store instead of the kiosks where you have to have your upper lip threaded in front of everyone passing by! The membership is the way to go. Great deal and I would go about every 2.5 weeks (membership is 3 mos). I like them way better than Hollywood Eyebrow. Yes at times my eyebrows haven't been perfect but more often than not they are.
