I did not have the experience I was hoping for. My husband and I came in on Friday the 13th. While…read morehe is very pleased with his tattoo, I can't say the same about mine. I thought the staff was friendly and accommodating, and I had high hopes walking into the shop. However this was a much unorganized event. I understand that's a busy day for tattoo shops. I've had 2 tattoos done on Friday the 13th in the past from different shops and I'm aware there is a high volume of traffic and a lot of request to be met, but there was no system in place to minimize the chaos here. I'm a very patient person so I was trying to be understanding to the matter...Maybe their turnout was better than expected or maybe they were understaffed? Who knows...? I requested roman numerals of my daughter's birth date that I wanted tattooed on my wrist. The tattoo I wanted was very simple - straightforward, clean lines. I typed and printed out the numerals exactly how I wanted them and gave them to the artist. The artist took my design and got my stencil ready. My fault was assuming the stencil was correct. The placement alright, however it wasn't until after the tattoo was finished, I noticed something was off from the picture I had on my phone. A numeral was missing. I was forgiving as I'm aware we are humans and we make mistakes, unfortunately this is a permanent one. I am mad at myself for not catching it sooner, but also upset that the artist was not more cautious. I had to go back and let them know there was a flaw in my design. While they were quick to fix the mistake, the artist was trying to free hand the missing numeral. I politely asked her for the stencil again because I wanted to make sure the fonts matched up. I chose my original font for a reason and I didn't want a discrepancy in the design. As mentioned before, I know they were busy. It was chaotic and I'm sure they wanted to get to as many customers as possible and because of this I feel like my tattoo lacked quality and it was poorly executed. The artist/owner told me how to care for my tattoo and if there were any blurs, fallouts, etc. to come back and they would fix them for free. While I appreciate her offer, I will not be back and I cannot recommend them. It's been 3 days since I got my tattoo and I have noticed even more imperfections since it's been cleaned and started to heal. My lines are shaky and uneven and so is the spacing (See photos below). Once my tattoo heals completely, I will be going elsewhere to have my tattoo touched up.

My bestie and I came here for matching frogs. I'd chatted with Kerise (owner) and booked through…read moreFacebook. Let me start off with the good, what little there was. I liked the staff. They were funny and the atmosphere was family-like. That's really all that was positive about the trip. I booked with Kerise a few weeks ahead of time. However, when we got there, we were informed that one of the other artists wanted to do them instead. I've never had a shop switch artists like that. The problem is that he was booked solid. We got there at 1, and it was about 2:30 when the artist started sketching us up. His 3 o'clock was already there waiting. My friend went first and he did a good job on hers. I say good not great because the lines were sloppy, and you can see where he messed up and went too far with some of them. By the time he got to mine, I felt like he was rushing. We had a disagreement about the colors I wanted and I ended up caving and going with colors I didn't want, just so we could just get it done. The end result is a tattoo that's really messy and not fully finished. He also went hard on the machine, causing the worst scabbing I've ever had on a tattoo. For something the size of my palm, it took twice as long to heal as the large pieces I have. The shop was dirty - not just dingy, but outright dirty. The policy on using gloves is pretty lax. We overheard the owner saying that customers are "on tattoo time." There was another lady who waited almost three hours for hers. The shop doesn't seem to care if you booked ahead, so be prepared to wait. I was new to the area when I booked, I was looking for a regular artist. I'm glad now that I didn't ask for anything larger. I'll never go back to a shop where the owner has no respect for clients' time and clients are pawned off because the artist they booked with is having a "midlife crisis because she turned 40" that day. Your money is better spent elsewhere, where the staff are professional and actually care about the work that walks out the door.
