Today I asked him to estimate work on a cosmetic repair to cover over some foreign paint stains transferred to my car's fender and quarter panel. Mike did the inspection on the spot, calculated and wrote up the estimate and then said "But, I wouldn't do it if I were you." Instead he told me how to remove the paint stains, where to find my pain trim color code, and how to touch up the scratches myself. He then did the paint stain removal himself while I watched. And, no charge for any of this.

The job just completed was for my own car, having sentimental value. As I've had company vehicles for many years, this was the last brand new car I purchased, now 20 years ago (with 54K original kms). I'm saving it as a future collector/hobby car for retirement. The car is normally stored over the fall and winter months and is only driven a few times over the summer. Other than a few very minor cosmetic issues due to its age, I take great pride in maintaining it in almost showroom new condition. I shared my story about the car with Harrison who was very impressed with what great shape the car is in when he saw it. So when it came time to choose a detailing shop Joshua and his team came highly recommended so I gave him a shot. I've been a happy customer ever since. Anytime a detailing shop has Porches, R8s, Ferraris, etc as customers you can instantly feel confident in their level services. Additionally, they're located right in the middle of the CBD (central business district) so super convenient to drop your car, hit a meeting, and return to a sparking ride. I experienced an absolutely unacceptable customer service conduct at A1 Unity Auto; rude and…read morearrogant. I went there to ask for their cost assessment for a damage at the rear fender. I was asked to wait for a Catherine to arrive for about one hour (she is said to have been a former police constable). She perfectly ignored me like I didn't exist. She then quickly took about a dozen photographs from all over the vehicle (including the sunscreen on top which was virtually irrelevant). Then she asked for the Owners Certificate and took photocopies of that too. At the end, when I asked for the assessment I initially wanted, she said they wouldn't disclose their assessment to customer. At this time, their other employee (Ehsan, of Iranian background) gave me a swear word (without provocation) and asked me to leave.

He also gave me a discount and added an engine steam cleaning service at no extra cost. The results looked as beautiful as new.
