Best choice made because Yu-Lee came through and magicked (I've got no better word) my hair to life. There's so much dimension and I adore the blending. Yu-Lee was even considerate to color my hair in such a way my white/grey hairs would blend in while growing out! The salon is so cozy and bright and everyone is friendly, considerate, and professional at what they do. Pricing was reasonable to me, especially considering my virgin hair took quite a bit of time to lighten. Can't go wrong with coming here :)

Walking in, I was not only surprised how beautiful the inside was but also that it didn't feel like…read morethe average salon or hair studio. Like stations set up in a row, etc. It felt so personal and comforting! I've had more than my share of hair horror stories and had been with the same stylist for over 15yrs after so many bad ones before. But moving to FL, I've been so nervous and the first two stylist i met damage my hair and even my scalp! So I was very apprehensive about any others here. I researched a lot until I found this one. Jen was so responsive and kind while we were scheduling. I had at least two inches of growth, usually having color low lights and pretty blonde highlights over dark brown hair. Plus I have very Long, thick and course hair. Jen was so nice and had a pretty good idea of what I was trying to achieve. Her products smelled so good and I didn't feel any discomfort! She dedicated hours and it paid off for me! Despite my growth, it looks amazing! It looks like I envisioned. If you know anything about lightening and keeping up with it, it's not easy so I will need another session to get it perfect. But even so, you'd never even notice! I finally left a Fl stylist without crying!! I trust her so much with my hair, we even discussed going a little lighter and making slight changes. My hair even feels healthier and smoother after my first wash. Other things a valued about Jen: she didn't try to push any products on me but I loved them so much, I'm going to get some! She also didn't make me feel ugly. She didn't make try to push her own suggestions and really heard what I wanted. She explained everything, including why to have a good trim. Which btw made my ends looks so dramatic cleaner. I could go on and on but hopefully this provides enough reasons to trust Jen! I trust her so much, I'm even taking her recommendations for other services like lash work. * Being asian and white, my hair isn't perfect or stereotypical to either ethnicity. I only bring this up because when I was searching for someone who was good at Asian or difficult hair, I didn't find anything so I'm hoping this helps someone.

They charge you an outrageously high amount for the service and add to it, based by how many grams of product they use to color your hair. This salon is not the only one in St. Petersburg or the Tampa Bay area that is supercharging the middle class out of hair services. This salon happens to be murdering it. I responded to a special of 50% off that still amounts to paying considerably more than regular price at other salons. STAY AWAY unless money is no object. I told this kind lady that I was turned off by the way her company does business and she needed to find a better place to work. That is an understatement.

I wanted to wait before posting a review because I genuinely hoped this situation would be resolved…read moreprofessionally, but unfortunately it was not. I paid a significant amount for hair extensions and had issues almost immediately after the install. The color match was not what I expected, and more importantly, the installation itself caused extreme scalp tension and discomfort. I experienced redness, pulling, headaches, and migraines from how tight the extensions felt. I reached out multiple times trying to resolve things calmly and professionally. I even offered to return the hair, but instead of working toward a reasonable solution or partial refund, I was advised to file a dispute through Klarna. After continuing to try communicating, I was eventually blocked. I understand extension installs are expensive and results can vary, but I believe professionalism and customer service matter just as much as the install itself. I would strongly encourage future clients to discuss refund policies in writing beforehand and pay close attention to how their scalp feels after installation. This review is simply my honest personal experience as a client.

The salon came recommended by another curly haired curl I met back in February. I found Anna-Rose and watched her work on instagram. Took me 5 months to finally feel comfortable trusting someone new. I liked her work and her passion for her skill and work. I met with Anna-Rose on 7/8/2023 for a consultation. She was so friendly, down to earth, and real. She made me feel comfortable. We talked about my past hair cut bad experiences and what I wanted. I showed her some pictures and she showed me some. We figured out what I wanted and I booked for 7/15/2023. We talked again the day of about what I wanted and she got to work. She was gentle and talked me through what she was doing. I wanted a trim, a soft u-shape cut, with slight face framing pieces. She brought my curls and hair back to life. I was so happy with the process and end result! Thank you so much! The salon was also fantastic. The vibes inside were friendly and family like. Everyone was chatting, sipping coffee and water, and comfortable. Have not experienced this before and it was great! They also offer waxing and manicures and pedicures. Will definitely be back and would definitely recommend!
