I had to park in an adjacent parking lot to come inside because they were busy with the lottery. Anyway, they were busy selling lottery tickets and selling gas when I was here on a Friday night. They were so busy, they had two cashiers. I could tell both were tired. They were a little slow too in customer service and checking out customers. In other words, they were in no great big hurry to get to the next customer. Why I was here? To buy a lottery ticket. Of course, I won nothing. The way I look at it. If you buy a lottery ticket - you have a chance at winning. But, if you don't buy a ticket- you have no chance of winning. In summary, like I said, it is really small inside. The aisles are just barely big enough for you to walk around. If you get gas here, be careful and not run into anything or anybody. It's also hard entering and leaving this gas station/ convenient store.

In addition to these two restaurants, there is also a Jack in the Box and a Mexican restaurant close by. The gas was competitively priced and I really had no issue this time around. I have been here a few other times and I remember once, I could not get a receipt because the inside was closed, but that was a few years ago.

I start my trip by getting on I-40 at Old Hickory Boulevard. I always talked into places that you get us. The gas prices at Kwik Sack are generally a lot lower than the surrounding gas stations. It's worth it to me to stop. It is right next to interstate so not at all out of the way. I have certain things I like to buy for road trips. Kwik Sack has everything I want. I take that back, they have everything at once except the ice cream I like. I like the big Nutty Buddy cones. Unfortunately there's no store in the area that carries them. The one across the street doesn't have any ice cream at all. I doubt I will go back there. Oh yea, they have a really good taco truck outside. I usually go to Kwik Sack because it has good gas prices and because the people in there are very nice. It's kind of important to me for some reason, I hate to go into a store when the workers are in a grumpy mood. It puts me in a grumpy mood to be around people like that.
